personally I like yours better then the chrome ones. As for the widening thing.. measure the distances from your tire to the spring as of now... if you widen it, it'll still push it towards the springs 2-3 inches, plus the tires width... Do you really want that large of spacers for daily driving? You wanted dependability.....adding 2-3 inch spacers would be needed for you to clear your rims if widened.. think about it. Its close to rubbing now scott...
Just seems like your widening idea is out of wack unless you go the Other way!

Come on guys, someone must know the people that supply the wheels for the Lamborghini replicas.
I will see if I can find out from the local guy.
I have seen him put 385's or something near that size on the back of a stock suspension Fiero.
They are a really deep dish wheel, but they do fit. I use to go and visit Harry every month or so to get the Fiero parts he threw out. But he has since dropped to one car a year so I don't get much. Yes the engine cover is corney but it sells.

the wheels would basically HAVE to be extended completely outward, i figure two inches would get it nice and flush with the flares. i can spare about half an inch on the inside. so basically i would need a two inch flare, and at least a 1.5inch spacer, more than likely go with 2inch and shave the lower strut shield to be sure. but now, is it really that bad to have a properly made adapter that wide? i don't see how it would be any different that buying a wheel with a rwd offset.
capt, 385's are a little out of my league, but i appreciate the thought. the kit car scene is the reason i had hope with this to begin with, although i've seen some pricing on those wheels and i'm far better off widening mine, plus i find the replica wheels to be rather ugly on anything other than the car they are replicating

285s ... I had to brighten the pics so the tires could be seen. 335s coming soon.
Is that all? You need to get rid of that POS. I hear Indy's are nice.

They were in the 300's thats really all I can remember. I spent most of my time drooling over how he stretches the car and was amazed at the sheer detail that goes into each one.
You can have wheels made to fit your car. They will be expensive for sure, but you won't need spacers/adapters.
Billetspecialties.com has a few wheels that aren't too bad, but they are more suited for street rods. They have a few styles that you can get in 17x11.
Also Simmons wheels will make you a custom set, but figure about $3,000 for a set of wheels.
ROH makes custom wheels, but again, pricey. There are others like Makaveli, HRE, but these guys want about $1,200 a wheel.
hmm, maybe it's time to enroll in that autocad course. your main project is to design and then make a set of wheels that you get to keep, only have to pay cost of materials, lol. damn you blake for not taking that class *shakes fist*
Indy Fieros that run are nice. I see you are gonna use a 6 speed? That should tack on another 8 years on your build. Get to work, loser!
I'm not going to use the 6 speed, yet. Too much of a pain with the clutch, what with the new spline and all, and trying to do the cables/everything else. I'd rather spend the money on wide wheels/tires so I can hurry up and blow my Isuzu trans and get a 284.
Besides...I've been talking with Huffy and that new 21 speed is looking pretty sweet
How about an Indy with a running Iron Duke? Personally, I'd take that as an insult, but maybe your standards are lower
