are they both as effective for keeping your headlights down?

Okay I have first hand experience with this one. My bro in law and I went about vebting our hoods in 2 different ways with 2 different results. He made 2 holes in his hood with and used the ecu vents as "mesh". I put an actual hood scoop on but backwards. He even had bigger holes and more surface area than me. His venting wasn't that great because air would rush in the hole from both top and bottom. I had a scoop and that had an extraction effect. The air traveling over the scoop actually helped suck air out of the scoop.

This is just a buildup of the plug for the front end mold; it will be separated at the fender line where the trim piece is missing. I built the plug with the parts mounted to the car to reduce any warping or misalignment. Once I get it to a finished state, I will fiberglass a 2 piece mold of the front, pull the mold... and wash and scrape off all of the buildup.... its amazing how perfect sheetrock putty is for design work. Once you get something you like all you have to do is clear seal it, pull your mold and then wash and scrape it all off your original parts and then you can buildup another design

[edit] It will open just like Norms front end on Rverhalen's car... except the front end framework won't be removed.

This is a plug, as I stated above... as in... I will add headlight buckets to the front end once the final piece is pulled from the mold.
