anyone know what cars used a rotatary knob with a cable ?

Bob -- looks like you'd have a tough time even through the Air bag hole! The CD changer and ductwork would make it a real PITA to get to it... I didn't have a chance to run the Mitsu. motor with the "new" circuit, and might not for a while.. Worked 12 hrs today, another 12 tomorrow, and it looks like Mon-Fri (maybe Sat) next week will all be 12 hr days at work... Great for the paycheck, bad for my health. I'm going to make more in 2 days than I ususally do all week! Maybe it's time for that intercooler... hehe Kohburn - Not sure I've seen any cars that have a rotary knob with cable.. I'd think Jscott and the other Firebird guys would have come across something while working on the swap.. It is possible though..

welp then i have two choices - follow the example you guys are setting.. or machine a rotary control that can mount into a dismantled rotary switch and use the stock knob from another car.. i may try it just for fun..
