Thats great. I have a yellow one two with a supercharged 3.4 swap but i have not yet opened it up. Just looking for the first ricer (honda, toyota, nissan with all the go fast stickers on it) to ask to play! The only thing that i have messed with is a C5 vette with a 6 speed. He got me by less than less than a car lengh. i think if mine was a stick I would of had him. The loook on his face was the greatest when he realized that a old fiero was on him and he could not shake me. I am going to put it on the chasis dyno in a few weeks and see what she does.

That really depends on the Golf...

how about the new GTI: http://www.germancarfans.com/news.cfm/NewsID/2040901.001/volkswagen/1.html

or the VR6: http://www.live2cruize.com/vw_golf_vr6.htm

I know it's unfair to compare a brand new car with a 87 model like my Fiero but since people don't know the Fiero here hey think it's brand new, too. I never get the "wow, that's a Fiero?" here but rather "what's that? A Lotus? Maserati?" and when I tell them my car is 17 years old they don't believe it...

In the USA, anyone with a very fast can a least get spanked in a Fiero if it's a V8. Oh well, at least you have the girl.

When the road surface is bumpy the car will jump quite a bit and the steering is very "detached". But those are things that a 87 GT owner probably has to live with.

All I can say is God Speed to you.

You have more balls than I do.

I would drive an 88 that fast... but I would never take a 86-87 to those speeds.
