I'm quite a ways away, but into Fieros. Hey naskie18, we have to meet up at Fierorama.
When're you leaving MI and what route are you taking? and where the heck is Portage anyway? Off to Yahoo! maps If we're going by each other, or our routes converge at some point, and we plan on going about the same time we should try and caravan
Looks like I go right by you on the way there, wanna caravan (depending what time you plan on leaving)?
Nick

theres quite a few people in michigan... and then some crazy people like naskie. a friend in kalamazoo is starting to get into them but he'd never buy one. Ill be up there the 21st maybe for like a week if all goes right.
I've talked to a couple of the Fiero owners up here in Traverse City, but they're not really into the cars (Just transportation)! I, on the other hand, am obsessed with them, but don't yet own one.
Let's see, there's a black 84 sports coupe and a black 86 sports coupe at the High School, a black 86 or 87 GT near the High School that never moves (I got dibs on this one, I'm telling NOBODY where it is ), another black 86 or 87 GT some old lady drives, a black 85 GT parked near the bike trail sometimes, a white 84 with black and white steel wheels, a black Aero notch SE downtown by some government building, there was a blue 87 coupe up here for a while, and everyone tells me they've seen a yellow one around here but I've never seen it!
ALL THESE BLACK FIEROS AND NOT A SINGLE RED ONE!

I'm also in Clarkston! But, I'll be 40 in January and you guy's probably wouldn't want to hang out with an old fart like me anyway. LOL. I also know a few other "old fart" Fiero owners around the Waterford/Clarkston area. Maybe we could just get together for a cruise some time soon.

There's a white Fiero for sale on M-15...maybe 1-2 miles north of I-75...I don't remember anything else about it 'cept that its white and I think its a notchback, but I'm not positive.

yea ive looked at it a few times, its in pretty rough shape, and she is asking 2500. I heard it has a new engine and tranny, but im really saving for a 3800sc so i plan on tearing out engine and tranny anway. I had found a red 86 gt with 70k miles and looked in real good condition.... 2500 must sell. Someone beat me to it

I'm in the Downriver area, but I'm 30 something so like the post above you might not want to "hang" with me.
However maybe while the weather is still nice we could do an invasion of some cruise nights around the Metro Detroit area. Gokart Mozart started a thread about this but nothing realy came of it, in fact I've not seen any posts from him lately. Has anybody heard from him?
PS - Silver Fieros are the best, BAR NONE! In fact Pontiac loved the Silver so much they put it on the bottom of GT's LOL

I have a list of 51 Michigan owners who have shown up on this forum. Two weeks ago there was a total of 30+ cars at MIS. I didn't get a chance to get names to check my list against. Always glad to add new addicts to my list.

So am I the oldest on the forum from MI? This isnt good... Guess someone has to own that position.
ARKaiser... Do you have ChopTop on your list? Just wondering... he used to be active on the board but I havent seen him here lately.
[shameless plug] I'm located in Lansing near I496/US127 and have a 3-stall garage. Could use an extra hand here and there in exchange for garage time so come check it out. [/shameless plug].
BTW, I celebrated my 10th "39 & holding" anniversary last April. Kinda puts me up there with dirt. Willing to arm wrestle all comers who wish to knock me from the thrown.
34 Year old Port Huron area Michigander here. Although monthly I visit, Battle Creek, Albion, Three Rivers, Niless, Holland, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Negaunee and Houghton. Basically every three weeks I travel the entire state.
When I travel I like meeting up with people from the Forum and seeing thier cars/Talking fieros.
As is well documented on the board's one of my favorite past times is hitting the junkyard in search of elusive parts. So if your looking for something let me know, if I find it I'll pull it and you just pay cost for part from the yard & Shipping.
Not a mechanic here, Biggest car job I ever did was timing gear (Ford Exp), Replaced a cross Member (Toyota Supra), Struts (VW Quantum). So If anyone close and could help out with exhaust work on my fiero help would be appreciated.

LOOK FAMILIAR? Wish we could have spent some time chatting about our cars.

I am in Southwest lower Michigan. 19 and fiero obsessed!
Linenoise: I work at Meijer in Three Rivers. Stop by the Hardware Dept. next time you are there. I will be the tall guy with a fiero pin on my name tag.
We should get all these Michigan people together! I think we'd have one heck of a party...What do you all think??
Tigger, Korey J, StansGT, and KissMySSFiero are some others that are around. Kissmyss is from Valparaiso, but he was happy to make the trip to hooters.
I think that another Hooters meeting is in order!

At 51 I hate to think I'm one of the oldest but I guess I'll have to live with it.
MoJo - yes I've got ChopTop on the list but have never seen him or his car around town. BTW have you seen the 84 that's at Miller and Waverly. He want's 2,500 for an 84 2M4. I'll stop by maybe this week or next.
WingNut - I never got to get over and talk with you. I couldn't stay to go to dinner so missed a good chance to meet alot of the people who came. Heard there might be some kind of MFC dinner/cruise coming up other then the Fall Tour (wish I could make that one but that's not looking good).
Linenoise - found a yard here in Lansing that has two. 85 GT that's got a fair amount still left on her. An 84 that's fairly well picked over but still has soom goodies left.
Xantavar - Hooters sounds great - how about here in Lansing this time? Maybe we can get a larger group that way.

I'm working on recruiting more Michigan Pennock's Forum members. I have seen alot of Fiero's in town. I can name apprx 10 Coupes for sale, and another 15 or so Parked. Passed one house yesterday that had 4 coupes in his yard 1 had the orange abandoned vehicle tag on it. I've only seen 3 Other GT's in town and 2 of them (85's) were in car lots for sale.
In Fact I think today I'll print out some info letters and place them under thier windshield wipers.
