I'm in Lansing and the guy with the choptop, but that's parked due to the fact I finally removed the panels in hopes to begin paint prep. But we still have the 85GT t-top to drive around. My wifes 88 coupe will probably be for sale since she bought another vehicle to drive. A get-together sounds good, but I'll pass on that radioactive looking ORANGE hooters chicken. There's a couple places to meet on the river that might be fun.

I'll go for a meet at a park. There are 4 or 5 in the Lansing area that would be nice. Hawk Island is open and right behind my house and just down the road from MoJo's. It's a real nice place for a picnic and you can swimm too if you like.
Finding a day that I know I can make it will be hard. If everone else decides on a date I'll do whatever I can to make it. Sept 20 is the MFF breakfast in Fenton. Oct 10-13 is the color tour.

I'd definately be up for soemthing, not a bad drive from C-town to Lansing, my main problem is school semester is winding down and that'll probably keep me busy until October, but anytime in October I should be able to make it.

So what's the color tour, who organizes it, and how do I sign up to go?
The color tour is put on by the Michigan Fiero Club, they are in the greater Detroit Area. Colortour information should be on their website, I think it's a weekend event and they run north to the bridge. If we do decide to do something let's keep it lowkey, I can bring a grill if we just want a cookout. Late September, early October is fine, but remember this is Michigan, let's do it before it snows!

I like the 4th, I can make that happen (I think). If you're talking about the 27th of september, thats no good for me, I've got finals and have to move out of the house in Flint and back home to Clarkston after I'm done with finals that day.
Turbo, it's called Francis Park. There's an area right in front of that park I thought would make a good spot. Lansing installed a lookout/fishing area right on the river with a nice paved parking lot. Oct 4 is fine by me. I'll try and check it out, someone else mentioned another park too.

Francis is a nice park. The lookout areas can provide some nice photo ops. Oct 4th will take some tap dancing with my boss but I think I can work it out. About what time?
Just my .02 worth. lol I have a class reunion on the 27th of this month and the following weekend I would have my kids. I might be able to do some wheeler dealer with the plaintiff about takin them a day early and might be able to come up on the 4th of October. If its possible I will bring GT-X with me so everyone can see this LT-4 85GT notchie. I am only missing an Ignition Modual for my 3800 SC engine to be back on the road but it will be done by then. Let me know what you think guys. Just give me a lil time frame I can work with and I will try to make it.

My name is Duncan (chop top knows me). I live in Lansing. My Fiero is at my moms in Eaton Rapids currently undergoing several mods including a V8. If anyone is interested, there is a GT for sale here in Eaton Rapids. They are asking 1500 or OBO. It hass some issues and can probly be gotten for 1000. I think it is an 88. If anyone wants, I can get more info (I work in E.R.). There is also a notchy for sale on Waverly Rd. Just north of Miller Rd. Dont know how much they want but I drive past it everyday. I can find out about that one also.

I'm still lurking around. I picked up a couple toys (85 Yamaha 700 and 72 Honda 500)and been messing with them. With the ideas I have I can't do them with this Fiero so I'd like to sell it and get another soon. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/015900.html Anyone interested? BTW, I'm 35.

If you want a hand let me know and maybe I can come over, the way I drive it won't take me too long to get to you and I'm always up for working on cars....I'm usually free weekend afternoons/evenings, and as soon as it snows I'll have the mornings open, too, once the golf course closes.
And a bump

It would be cool if we could come up with a site with a garage and tools and then those with the knowledge help out some of us needing to gte some stuff done.
I for one need a new gasket on the rear exhaust manifold and a new muffler.

Here's another place we can meet: http://www.hell2u.com/ Maybe in the spring? Let's start chatting for get togethers for next year. Fiero's in Hell in May!
Or be like everyone else and go on Holloween...

Thanks Nick... guess ya gotta 'yahoo' to get anything done mapwise. The 4th is fine with me. May have a new toy by then Is anyone going to Deal's Gap? This is open to anyone with a Fiero and I believe its the last weekend of September but I could be wrong. Theres a few local people headed down there to run a stretch of road 11 miles long with 318 turns, for those not familiar with the Tail of the Dragon. Halloween in Hell sounds like fun... hope the weather holds out but it would be fun to see Hell freeze over too.
