Wuss!! :P heh..
Took me 12 hours to download it on 56k but was worth every sec.

Could somebody who has already downloaded the video put it somewhere else? I'm not sure why my server's bandwidth has dropped so dramatically but it's overwhelmed.
Thanks, Dave

If someone wants to EMail it to me I'll put it up right away.

If you can't see the video, then you likely don't have the right Codec either (Divx 5.0.3 is rather new). Go to http://www.divx.com and click on the "Divx" tab. Then download the free installer on the far right, and install.
I still couldn't view it with WMP (it apparantly doesn't read the codec installed by the download), but the installer also includes DivX Player 2.1 which played it just fine!
Do that.

Yeah, my card is a TV Wonder VE. I don't care about broadcast stereo anyway.
The DivX codec is very demanding of a computer. Its compression/quality ratio is very good, but CPU demands are the price. I think a minimum of 500MHz is required to view DivX movies.
As MinnGreen said, make sure you have the very latest version of DivX (5.0.3) before you download the video, as that's what I used to encode it and it apparently isn't backwards-compatible with earlier versions of the player. It is a very new release, I would say no more than a couple of months old. Don't rely on Media Player to attempt to download the correct one because it is too new to be available through that channel. Believe me when I tell you it's worth all this trouble, because you'll be rewarded with five solid minutes of V8 Archie burnouts in full-screen-quality video.
