Fortunately, most Fiero owners are a little smarter than that.
"Fart Cans", whew, I got a good laugh off that one. That's even better than "wounded duck"! As far as pics..... I found this on UsedFieroParts.com I think the stock wing is a much better choice personally.
Fart Cans....LOL

When you mean "Riced" are you mainly refering to the whole new Honda CRX thing? like trying to get those things to supposidly beat like Audi TT's and Vettes? one more question, how the heck do i edit my Signature? thx alot
When I say rice, it doesnt have to be a japanese car, its a look. i think supras are rice, even though they are fast. A car can be fast and rice at the same time. I was just looking on ebay, and they were selling "dragon" decals for fieros. Just got me wandering.

Some say mine is riced because of the big 19" wheels, front spoiler, big wing, and pillar gauges. I think it's more Italian.

I remember that car, that thing was loud as all heck!! And I completly forgot about that silver one. It seems minngreen has a pic for ANYTHING
I generally do... but my PC with all my photo archives is in the shop right now (may not be able to recover the drive either)- Thanks to Standard for posting that pic- it's exactly the one I was thinking of!

There is one here in MN that's 110% rice, I'm sure MNGREEN has a pic of it, can you say stick on hood pins ?
For only 6 posts, that's a little "negative", but I don't take comments on this board personally. BTW, note the lack of any type of hood pins on my car.
I guess a lot of people like my rice, at least the outcome of the shows I go to seems to say so........
I guess next year when my car is layed on the ground (complete air suspension), people will say the same thing, rice? Prolly not.

Jaei, I don't think that is what the post is talking about. Ricer is a derogatory term given to Japanese imports modified with radical body kits, spoilers and the like. Also, the trend was popularized by Asian youths on the west coast hence the term "riceboy". "Riced" out Fieros are likewise modified with outlandish body kits, scoops, vents, extreme wing designs, paint scemes, etc. You see them all over the site. The two GTs look fine, still recognizable as Pontiac Fieros. Their look is only really enhanced by lowering and wheels that don't dominate the vehicle. That, IMHO, is how the Fiero GT should've looked from the factory!

Gary- like I said, maybe a bit harsh- but people would/do associate some of your modifications with "Rice". I'm certainly not saying that your car looks bad (I really quite like the wing myself), although I am glad to see/hear that you removed the hood pins- that was certainly "pushing" it.
As for the "bagged" suspension- I'm sure it'll be cool, but it doesn't exactly reinforce an image of being an American Sportscar. But it'll be cool!
JaeiSun- I'd certainly have to agree with longterm that your car, and certainly Jimmy's car are really not at all "Ricey". The only thing even really reaching towards "Rice" on your car is the "speed mesh" and white signal lights... and that's just not enough. I guess if you want to qualify in the rice catagory... you should just add some stickers!
If the weather stays like this, we may just have to have a PFF "Holiday" Fiero gathering (aside from the MFF Holiday party, which is Jan 11th at the "Little Oven" btw).

It can be any car, European, American, Japanese, hell even Canadian . Basically it's made up of kids, or kids at heart, who follow the Japanese street racing scene, and try to emulate it on their cars, although their cars are not Skylines or Supras or Silvias, but instead they are Cavaliers, Neons, Civics and Accords. Basically once they are through modifying their car to be a "racer", they pretty much have not touched the engine whatsoever. So they are pretty much slower than stock now.
There is another term I want to introduce, it's called sleeper. Basically a sleeper is any car with massive amounts of power, with the exterior portrayed in such a way, that the person your racing either thinks your a stock car, because the entire exterior is factory, or you are a ricer, with lots of stickers, body kits and wings. In either case, the other driver is caught "sleeping" when the light turns green, because he expects to walk you without getting on the accelerator at all.

MY GOD PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasnt looking to be negative of derogatory in any way!!!!!! It's no wonder everyone bickers like a buch of B!$es, for god's sake take a valium, or better yet try midol. If noone in this world has a sense of humor I'll just give away all 13 fiero's & stick my head in the sand

Now Shawn... you're not at all prone to overreacting at all are you? (BTW: Did you get all the moldings you needed?)
I think the key to keeping things humorous here is the use (or even over use) of "Smilies" ... then people will know for certain that your being funny and/or humorous
BTW, whenever I'm offered a midol, I refuse (no matter how bad my back is aching)- even though numerous women have tried to explain to me that it's really just tylenol with caffine... I don't believe 'em. Just say "no" to drugs

It's a little long ( 48' ) but it will be modified & set up to carry 3 Fiero's. keep in mind I work on car's for a living & own my own business, this guy is on overload as it is & cant master computer & audio & everything else.
P.S. Gary....who's white GT is in the pic ? I'm looking for rim's like that.

I know that you put those hood pins on the eclipse, didn't you??? They are worth at least 20 or 30 HP!!! J/K.
I just finished fixing the torque strut that I ripped out of the tranny!! Maybe I should trade out my engine to a ricer 1.6L VTEC with 3 bottles or somthin', then again I could just keep reinforcing things till they don't brake with the S/C3800!!!!

Well everyone knows the "handleing by lotus" crap was a myth,so why keep the badges on your car?.Does that mean driving a camaro with mustang badges is a good idea?

Tabs: big exhaust tips and yellow trim are a bit much for my tastes, then again some people think that a plain grey interior and plain 3" rolled edge exhaust tips are boring.. so call me boring.
but with those 2 small exceptions, I love your car.... I can't wait till the spring to see those tail lights in person. and for those of you who haven't seen Tabs car at a show, etc... his paint is near flawless. he's done a really good job with this car.

Gary..... I'm not a rice hater, I actually like you car a lot, it's just a little over the edge with decals etc. That's my favorite color ( as you couldnt tell ). The rice I hate is the HONDA pissbrains that think thier 1.6 or 1.8 V-crap can beat a Fiero. Most dont know about the 86 Supercharged I'm trying to finish. but with doing my homework & math it will easily be a 10 sec streetable Fiero.
Ron ..... your sway-bar bushings are in, do you want them sent or should I bring them to the holiday party ?
