I always search before posting...and as usual, I didn't bring up anything about it.

Careful about buying a siezed-up 4g63 or major engine problems. These motors have paper-thing cylinder walls and don't like to be bored more than .020 if I remember correctly. Mine had a burned #1 piston(common) and although the cylinder wall didn't look bad, it needed to be bored too far.

Sounds familiar! I had an LT1 deal lined up and the same thing happened to me! Man was I pissed about that ($250 for a 12k miled LT1).

Naw i plan on suping up the 4G63 myself... Yes you can only go like .020 over and thats it... Surprisingly shes still real sturdy too! The only thing ill point out is YES its easy to turbo a non turbo 4G63 (all bolt on) but the non turbo doesnt have oil squirters that fire oil at the bottom of the pistons to cool them... Otherwise id be looking for ANY 4g63 rather than the turbo one!
