As Requested...from another post...some pics...
Well, some of the long time folks here at the forum have watched my car being built almost from the ground up.
This is how she has turned out with just a few things left to finish her off.

A few of the highlights:
355 Chevy V8 5 Speed: Archies Master Build..4 core radiator ect.
Speedway Brakes...new master, braided lines, ect.
Custom made adjustable Konis
Lowering Springs, poly, Drop spindles (sort of), Sway Bars ect….
Custom interior with a pair of 12s behind the seats.
Auxiliary 5 gallon fuel cell
Shaved handles, remote door poppers.
And the list goes on and on and on...

So here are the pics. I have more if you guys want to see more.

Here are some comparison pics,
You usually don’t see many pics of other cars around.

WOW!!

That is by far the nicest 355 kit I've seen! You've got the right engine in there too!

Later,
Chris

No “recent” pics of the engine compartment but I’ll post what I got...
I have the real Italian air boxes that I’ll be using and a “modified-modified” Diablo engine cover.

Here are two pics, one before the stretch and one after..

Here is a NASTY pic of the engine right when I got the car back from the paint shop.
I’m so embarrassed...It's a lot cleaner now.

Here is the top, only pic that I have with the car painted.
The top has been up only 4 times, 3 of which were to tow it.

Looking *good!* If you put a set of genuine F355 Wheels on it (or even some HRE 540s; http://www.hrewheels.com) I'd be hard pressed to tell it apart from the real deal at 20 feet or so. (I've driven several real F355s)

Glad you're putting in a real motor and tranny too!

Best!

Uh, seriously, though - that is a very well done conversion. It is obvious you put a lot of thought and detail into it. It looks great.

I love the 355. Looks very good. Have any recent shots of the interior? I've seen some when you were putting it together, but not completed.

Spyder, your my hero! (No sarcasm, really)
How's the ride? Does it feel/sound tight? Have you done anything with the interior?

That is what I eventually want but doubt I will ever have the funds to pull it off, I'm gad to see someone has... absolutely beautiful!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
For the Wonderful comments!
I’m a proud papa…..

GT Bastard were going to have to get you one of those clear keyboard protectors so those keys won’t ssstick. lol

The clear lights are from the local Ferrari dealership. Special order European version.
You can fit the apc Honda clears available at almost all car parts stores. (some bondoing)

I found the wheels and I thought they were close enough till I can afford the real wheels.
I got the Wheels, Tires, and Adapters for $1,800. (17x9.5, 275 and 17x7.5,215)
Here are the wheels side by side.

The interior.. I will take some new and better pics.
But here are some.. I still have to get a shift gate and a few other small things.

How much invested?
You Really Really don’t want to know. Really

How does it ride?
Like a race car and very quick.
So quick you just made the rev limiter come on because you couldn’t shift fast enough.
The body is mounted solid no rattles.
The engine is running great.

The Feeling.
Ten foot tall and bullet proof.
Just Sitting in the car with the rumble,
Feeling the raw power,
“Makes you feel like you Can Kick Anyone's Arse”.

Then turn on the Stereo and get the Subs Kicking...It Absolutely Rocks..

The attention is amazing….
Cars will pass by, then you see the driver break their neck to get another look.
People blatantly stare.
When it is parked in a parking lot, cars start circling it.
Every gas stop is a conversation.

MrPBody, I wanted to join the GA Fieros, its just a long trek to participate.
I’ll try to come to one of the meetings. I had one of the best times one night at American Pie...but that’s whole other story.

Score They are pretty close actually. And you can always toss on the real deal (for like $4grand :S) later on! All about doing things in stages when you're money tight.

On the silver car I'm building, I'm tackling all the mechanicals first, the car needs a repaint, and a new interior (gives me a chance to *seriously* upgrade both later when I am able though!)

Once again, a very nice job. At 20feet, I'd be very hard pressed to tell if it weren't the real thing.

Best!
Ben.
