The Fiero has a '89 350 TPI motor out of a Trans Am GTA, with a Chevy Beretta Getrag 5 speed with Rodney's conversion.

You've got one fast car there, X, but don't get carried away with yourself. You start racing for titles and someone's gonna put you in your place and take that rocketship of yours away from you. My motor is stock with no added SC. I have no need to spend upwards of $4k to make my car faster I am content with the way it runs now.

I was unaware of any mods. If knowing this ahead of time then I probably would have kept my mouth shut.

Yes, I have raced at the track before. My 95 TA ran an average of 14.2 at 2400' and 13.8 at 400' above see level. Biggest problem was hooking up. I know my Hawk is quicker than my 95 was but I don't plan on taking it to a track since I bought the anniversary edition. It's becoming a garage and trailer queen.

I have no problems with the supercharged 3800. Matter of fact that is the power plant of choice going into my Modified 84 SE. And if I do the mods that you have done and my Fiero beats my Hawk then I will be estatic. But being realistic on a standard swap with NO mods to the engine or tranny I still believe the LS1 will be victorious.

Remember this is just my opinion. I am not looking to get flamed.

If someone local can convince me in believing otherwise then this is my stance.

No they are just cocky punks with kind of fast cars. I have seen them run, a 13.42 is not impressive to me. They talk a bunch of trash because they think their "rocketship" is faster than mine, because I have a V6. Little do they know about power to weight ratio. And I wont race anybody for pinks, these clowns wont race me for pinks although they will talk this kind of trash now. But If I were ever to walk up to them and say "ok lets go, pull out your title, heres mine" they would be like "oh, well, my car isnt running all that good tonight, and I need to fix my ___ , and, uh, um...." you guys get my point. They will bet me some money though, and I will take it from them
