i put a ADS super chip in my Fiero years ago.. I'm not saying i gained any major power improvements, but it did pep up the engine a bit, and it idled better than stock, and overall felt more responsive than stock.. I felt it was worth the $40 i paid for it..

We discovered (with our wideband) a few years back that a stock 2.8 chip will work fine A/F ratio-wise even on an engine equiped with our intake manifold and headers. It was actually spot-on. If you add a wild cam or other mods it may be a different story.

Anyway, the thing to keep in mind wiith ECU chips and stock or modified engines, for the best results you can't simply throw a just any supposedidly SUPPER CHIP at it. You need to get dyno and wideband data FIRST and then burn a chip accordingly.
