I bought a V6 & Manual transmission on a Fiero cradle a while back, & it's set in my shed since. Seller didn't have a lot of data (Ebay auction), & I'm curious how to tell the stock v6 manuals apart by looking.

In the process of moving a few things around, & realized I've wanted to know which transmission I had for a while now. Also curious if there's a way to tell what year engine/transmission I've got.

Thanks in advance for any info,

-- Steve

5 speed will have a bolt-on metal cap on the end opposite the input shaft, 4-speed will have no bolt-on metal end-cap.
