The larger wire of the two in the upper right feeds the fuse box and ignition switch. The smaller feeds the headlight switch.

The larger wire of the engine harness runs to the alternator.
The smaller wire of the engine harness goes to the always on part of the ECM to save the ECM memory.

None of those wires feeds the ignition coil. That wire comes from the large connector and is switched on and off with the key

Oh, I didn't think about that. My Dad just sat one of those on my work bench. He built a F355 out of a 86 GT once and had it left over.

Power goes from the battery -

THROUGH THE WIRE THAT CONNECTS THE POSITIVE POST OF THE BATTERY TO THE POWER DISTRIBUTION POSTS.

Then power leaves from there via those wires through those fusible links. They will blow if the wires leaving the power distribution area get shorted out.

You got me to do it. I took a picture of my battery.

See the red wire that runs from the positive battery post to the power distribution posts?

Yes one end is inside the rubber of the positive cable. The other has an eyelet that is attached to the power distribution posts.
