So I wired it up and tried to start it and nothing.
No fuel pump sound and didnt try to crank.
I think i might of unplugged the fuel pump b the firewall. Ill check tomorrow.
But when i try to start it the temp and brake light on dash, volts, oil light come on? (I did the wire swap so the water temp guage doesnt peg.) Its been forever since I drove the car so can't remember which lights light up.
At the front by the crank there is a sensor that has 3 wires would that be the crank position sensor or what would it be? And what pin would it go to?

If anyone has a link to wiring the obd 1.5 that would help alot

Well lets get it to crank first

Is the current configuration a stick or automatic?

You made the engine harness?

Was the car itself a stick or an automatic before the engine swap

Both the fiero and the lumina the engine came from are automatic.

The harness I'm using was cut by the previous owner which used it in an 85 gt.

Current configuration is automatic

This is what I used to wire my car, everything works for me, except I think my oil level sender is bad.
I also made this to help me with trouble shooting an issue I had with my c500 connector.

So if you don't have it yet download the Haynes manual here under techp

http://www.fieronews.net/fusion/downloads.php

There should be a large yellow or purple wire on C500 that gets voltage to it when the key is turned to start. The wire should be PURPLE however if the harness that was used is from an AUTO the wire will be YELLOW. So find on C500 that wire put your probe on it and see if it gets voltage when the key is turned to start.

IF the wire is YELLOW it most likely isn't on the right pin to receive the voltage when the key is turned to start. Manuals use a different pin than Automatics, so if the wire is yellow it's also likely to be on the automatic pin instead of the manual pin. SInce your body harness isn't modified, you should use the manual pin. Either is ok to use as long as both engine and body harness use the same.

Ok so I hooked up my fuel pump directly to the battery and it runs. So its somewhere in the wiring.

I followed the thread on wiring the 94 95 that fierowannabe posted and still nothing

So did you make the harness? Did you wire up to the relay and to the oil pressure switch? If you still have the oil pressure switch wired up do you find +12v at one of the wires of the connector, with the connector unplugged and probing the connector. Do you find +12 at the Orange Black wire of the fuel pump relay? Do you get +12v on the DARK GREEN/WHITE wire of the fuel pump relay when you turn the key to on (when you should be getting the "prime")

Ok so i got nothing at the connector for the relay. I followed the thread linked above when I wired this. Is there any other stuff I have to splice besides what's in the thread? Like power to somewhere or grounds to the pcm or something?
