I'd be interested in an 88 set. I already have the calipers and rotors from my Camaro too.

I did put Z06 brakes on the front of my 2002 SS Camaro and there is a huge improvement over stock. Unfortunately the stock Z06 pads dusted so terribly I went to a non-performance pad. But they are still much better than stock.

Just workin on the brake swap in my spare time, I am gettin my car back on the road without the northstar for now cause Im still waitin on some missin peices of the swap. I am still tryin to make up for the aftermarket hubs bein goofed up, they had different size bores for the studs and it threw everything off. too bad I didnt notice until after I cut them up. Thanks for lookin, Drew

car is for sale. the manifold bolts broke off in the head and I cant stand the leak any longer. bought an 08 scion tc and gonna get busy at college. Too many little things that I just couldnt stand any more. 1, the bolt broke. 2, havent had a chance to get the other rotor and caliper setup on the pass. side. 3, needs braided hoses. 4, Interior lights stay on???. 5, No room for anything besides me. So I am getting out of fieros for a while until I settle down to a good job. Let me know if anyone is interested. I am looking for $2500 right now, maybe in a few weeks I will get desperate. Laters, Drew.

well for all those interested I managed to get a drawing of the adapter bracket.

From what Drew said to me in an email a while back was the with the caliper in this location it will hit the lower shock mount at the a-arm
just before full lock. I haven't got around to it but I'm sure there in some easy remedy for this.
Another thing is that you will need longer brake lines as the stock ones are to short.
One suggestion Drew gave was to get braided stainless universal -3AN 21" hoses from Jegs and then
get the -3AN to 10mm banjo and female 10mm to adapt to the hard line.

Hope this helps any who might have been left hangin'

I guess there isn't any new word on this project. Has anyone else taken it on?

I've owned a 2000 Camaro, a '97 GP GTP, and my '87 Fiero and I can tell you that the link you've provided really doesn't help anyone. What were you trying to demonstrate or explain? The link is a writeup on putting the '98+ F-Body brakes on the front of a W-Body, not a Fiero. I'm confused.

On the first page it talks about doing the swap to 5 on 115, and if you do that, then you may as well do this. Someone told of where to find a write up, but no link. I hunted for the better part of an hour, then posted that link to save anyone else that much time.

W-Body bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3
F-Body bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 inches or 5 x 120.65 mm

Just for informational purposes.

C5 Vette brakes are not the same as F-body brakes and will not work with C4 conversion brackets. There were three different brake systems on C4's, 84-87 12", then the 88-94 12", then the J55 13" on 90-95 ZR-1 and all 95-96. The C5 system is also 13", but it is completely different from C4. It was the same on ALL C5's including Z51 and Z06 from 1997-2004. The only difference on the Z06 brakes was the red paint. The 98-02 F-body system is basically the same as the 88-94 C4 setup.
