I tried searching but I got a lot of things to look though that was many pages long. So I know I am cheating but does anyone have a wiring diagram from the 3800SC or a link to one. I want to do the swap and know that can take a while so I thought I would start my swap by gathering parts. I figured that would be a good one to start with. My dad is an electrican and can read wiring diagrams and he is willing to help. So if anyone has one that would be great.

Oh the other question I meant to ask was do i need a spare 2.8 harness to hook the 3800SC harness into or am I replacing everything? I know dumb question just want to make sure i got everything I need before I start to work on this.

Yes, you need a 2.8 harness to mate a very few wires to. Mainly though you need a 3.8 sitting in front of you to build a new clean harness around.
It's a piece of cake. You and your Dad will have no problems wiring the swap.
