use forum research ,,the search feature at upper right and print out these post when the finish is reached .. I recently dropped the transmission out of a V6 GT ,,I have done swaps before but never a fiero.. the most difficult part will be pulling the engine /tranny ,best to drop out the bottom.. If you have the proper equipment to raise car high enough and drop engine or pullout the top this is the hard part !!"" what I call mix & match"" making sure you have the correct parts to get the power to the wheels is easy,, the easy part of swap..but FRUSTRATING. Just check out all post about swap and make your own list and as you read new post make sure you have any missing info added to list .. in 2001 I suffered many head aches working on my Fiero to get it right.. when I found this forum 4 years later ,,fewer headaches. Using this forum your biggest problem will be removal of engine/tranny and reinstall .. I spent weeks removing Fiero tranmission ..I had ro remove it after I installed to weld transmission mount,, took it to Robertson repair shop ,, they raised car on lift and had tranny and engine out in an hour,, I am going to replace 4 speed with automatic when I have money because of bad leg..
