here is where i foudn the install instructions.

I'm not really looking forward to taping into the new intake. The performance mod chips waht they do is give the IAT a false reading, so it makes it look like the air is cold correct?
and then it dumps more fuel. So what reading does it need? I could just get a resistor.

Welcome to the forum If you havent been told already. But I'm not quite sure what you are asking. You have a Cold air kit and you dont want to tap it for the IAT sensor? BTW. Its been throughly discussed before that those performance chips do more harm than good.

I think what he wanted to do was make it read the optimal stock resistance. Drilling and tapping it isn't hard. Mine is in the same place as that links. With no emissions (not cat no egr) i got like 33mpg. V6 5speed.
