Now to the part I was doing this for.

My wheel and tire.

And on the car.

I know I have other things to do on the car, but I needed new trires, and decided I was not going to put tires on, then deal with this later. Now I don't have to worry about the wheels!

I also want to add, I got my stripes form Paul McKibben, at http://www.fierosails.com/decal.html. At the same time, I ordered the decals to do the air cleaner, and valve cover. I will do those at a later time. When I got the wheel stripes, they were actually half the width they were supposed to be. I just assumed the computer was haveing a bad day, when it cut the stripes. I will let you know, Paul took care of this very quickly, and sent out the correct ones. He was very good with communications, and always did what he said he was going to do. With this, I highly recommend him, even if you do find the stripes elswhere. I plan on getting some other decals from him in the future.

Your work is outstanding. The wheels look incedible.

I got sail panel inserts and a decklid decal from Paul more than a few years ago. I just refinished my sail panels last weekend and took the protective paper off of the sail panels for the first time. All I can say is WOW! They are extremely high quality, look awesome and fit perfectly. The decklid decal will be going on a freshly painted decklid in the next few weeks. Can't wait to see it.

Just a note to let everyone know, I edited the part where we talked about the stripper I used on the edge of the wheel. Found the part number the other day.

Excellent job. Also Paul McKibben www.fierosails.com has a Mask Set for the Indy valve covers and air cleaner. This way you can paint instead of stickers if wanted like the original. I have this set and it is well made as is the sticker set I did earlier this year. Rick B

The silver is
Dupli Color
Med Marblehead Metalic CC
EDSGM478

The CC means you will need to use Clear Coat to get the color to look correct. They seel a Clear coat that I used. Hope this helps. Rick B

I am looking for the place that carries the Nason two part etching primer, and the dupont chroma base body color paint. Where can I buy these?

Kevin,

Those look great, I'm adding this to my favorites, but did the list of primers, and paints get posted? I didn't see it anywhere.

Probably a dumb question, but have you tried your Dupont automotive paint dealer? Nason is a Dupont brand, btw.

Yeah, me too. They are billiant tires. And a great value. And I live only about 10 miles from the Tire Rack warehouse in Reno/Sparks NV. I pay sales tax, but no shipping!
