That's bhp by the way. You can also surpass the 400hp cut off for short periods of time with N20.....ask me how I know If you are using any permutation of the stock TPI intake with the exception of forced induction, and the complete aftermarket intakes (ie Miniram/LT1, SuperRam, StealthRam, etc), you'll be safe with the MAF since its pretty hard to max out that MAF with the LTR setup.

What kind of ECM and programming are people with Hi-Po (specifically ZZ4) SBC's using with their TPI. I can't imagine a factory ECM calibration being very good for a ZZ4 or stronger engine. Has anyone considered the Accel DFI setup or Holley Commander 950 so you can tune for you specific setup, or do most people get custom chips burnt for the OEM ECM? If so, who does the chip?

This topic has already been dicussed like nobody's business over at thirdgen.org. Here's the gist of it. The OEM ECM is perfectly capable of handling serious power with custom PROM. For mail order stuff Ed Wright has done good work with F-body related stuff (better than other cars from what I hear). The best way to do it though is to find a dyno to tune on. Most people just get into burning chips and become self sufficient tuners. The DFI and other stand alone systems are a waste of money if you ask me, unless you have the earlier MAF setup and want alot of power or you are converting from a carb. And even then you can convert to SD for cheaper.
