Ok guys, you have all helped me out greatly. I have one more question regarding the interior of my 85 2M4. I plan to do alot of work on the car tommorrow and I might as well get this out of the way too. The lower corner of both sides of the dash are chipped away. About a walnut sized chunk out of each. I wish I could get some pics up but I haven't the time. My question is..how can I fix this to look better than it is? I don't want to replace the whole dash. What is the best way to patch the chips? Do I use some kind of liquid plastic? Or is apoxy needed? Anyone had the same problem and fixed it? I just want the cars interior to be pleasing to the eye and I can't do that with the chunks missing from the lower corner of the dash. Any help would be great before I try something that will make it worse.

Do a search in the archives for dash repair. I did and found a lot of info about it. There is a company that makes leather and vinyl repair kits that are supposed to be very good. I have'nt used it yet but I will be. That dash problem is common to Fiero's mine has the same problem Dave

There are alot of ricers out there with brightly colored but otherwise stock-shaped dashboards. Does anybody know who is making them or how they are being supplied? The dashboard material looks new- are they fiberglass frames or re-covers on the original dash? Anybody have any input?
