I will not come back to this ppost and read it again.
I talked to you about the clutch over a year ago and then since you were a vendor I had Robin get a hold of you and you and Robin dealt about the clutch directly.
The only thing I knew was after the fact and that was that Robin sent you the clutch and you paid him as I was told a good six to seven months after he asked you several times for the money.
Did you personally buy the clutch from me? Did I send you the clutch?
Did you give me specks on how you wanted the clutch built?
The answr to those questions is no....no....no...
I was just a go between you and Robin in the beggining and the rest was between the two of you.
Please call Robin since he is the person you dealt with and he is the person you paid. I made no money on this transaction nor ever intended to.
As for Bill Cady. one more statement from you on this forum as to me or the Fiero Shop, be prepared to answer to my attorney and to the courts as that is where you will find yourself in yhe middle of a court battle.
You have written a lt about me and I have several witnesses of things you have told them in privat.
As for the rest of you who have not done bussiness with me or the shop and you know nothing about what is going on...BUTT OUT...
You are assuming a lot. As you all know the word ASS U ME is to make an ass out of you and me. What you are doing is making a judgement that you know nothing about.
I for one have been told about what is going on and I do not have the time nor am I gooing to make the time to reply to you all or defend myself to any of you. It is below me to stoop to a low level and have a war with any of you.I have too much to do and will not make time for this BS.

Archie, Best of luck in resolving your dispute. The only thing I can add is that I bought a clutch from George about 20 months ago. It was a kevlar clutch (non-4-puck) built by Robin (the same guy building the 4-puck unit).

It had a modest performance gain overall but was a real bother when the engine was cold. It was in gear, or out; fine for quarter mile use but hardly street friendly. The one advatage seems to be durability. I have 25K on it and it seems like it will last for another 25K. I am finding that it is getting more street friendly with time too. The first 10k are the hardest.

I never had to bother with George's warranty since I bought it strictly as an experiment anyway. I was prepared for any result just to see how it performed.

The one thing I can say is that I was not prepared to let George do the installation for the reasons mentioned in my previous posts. Ihave no information about Robin, his credentials, or experience so you are on your own for that info.

Bottom line:
The kevlar is long wearing but grabby(and that is with a standard clutch design). I have to conclude that a 4-puck design would be unstreetable based on my experience.

I was thinking about buying this clutch but when I put some thought into how little surface area of the clutch disk comes into contact with the flywheel I said forget it.

BTW I gotta stop by your shop Archie. I've seen some mean pocket rockets driving around near my area and boy would I like one of those.
