Why is it that when I punch my 88GT it pulls to the right and when I let off it pulls to the left but at steady speeds it tracks perfectly straight? BTW- new poly bushings in rear, 4 wheel alighnment and new tires properly inflated. I can't figure this one out.

Aight hugh, so be it. I respect that. I also think I should get an answer to my question though. It IS out of curiosity. Thanks.

My '86 SE V6 5 spd did that--rev it up, shift hard, and it would blip to the left with every shift. I eventually was able to drive it straight, then I drove my dad's car, and it blipped to the right every time I shifted

I think that is caused by worn axle CV joints. How many miles on your car? The unequal length axle setup is not ideal. Supposedly an extension shaft from a Beretta will help this (and make replacement right axles a HELL of a lot easier to find!)

Lurch to the left, nose to the right.
This was after a new alignment Turned out the rear camber was off almost a degree positive. Before that happened I would have staked large amounts on the belief that one degree wouldn't matter. Seems the tiny details are hidden gremlins causing a lot of seemingly big problems.

Oh yeah, as long as information is put in along with the bickering then it's all still good.

Not trying to continue the flames, just wondering..

Why can't the Fiero torque steer? It is basically a FWD setup mounted in the rear.. I've noticed the same thing, and quick shift to the left between shifts when I'm accelerating hard... darned if I'm wrong, but it seems as thought the torque is steering the car a bit...
