For the record, I've been called much worse in my lifetime. Occasionally, it was even well deserved.

I have always had Stan at neutral.
He is who he is.

I just positive-rated him based solely on hypocrisy.

I am now defending someone not because I even like him, but because he has done nothing that others haven't done, mostly to a blind eye.
It feels like the worst episode of Perry Mason ever...

And for that he deserves a pass?

I held off rating Stan for a long time.

I occasionally got a laugh out of some of his silly stuff.

But I began to imagine how it would feel to be on the receiving end of one of his hateful tirades.

I didn't like it.

I finally negged him last November.

I feel somewhat guilty I waited that long.

I'm afraid I'll have to politely disagree with you on this. Stan is who he is, but he doesn't need to attack people in this manner. He has a neg from me, and that won't change...because he won't change.

I've seen many people attacked here that you didn't rush to defend. If you feel it's a matter of principle to now defend Stan, I submit you should be quite busy defending everyone else equally or you're just as hypocritical as those you complain about.
