Hudini...from your unique perspective, thoughts on the new Chinese corona virus (Page 68/146)

I asked someone today about the Toilet Paper. He said because it was all made in China, and we weren't getting anymore shipments. I'm not sure where these people are getting this info.

I have picked up at the TP plants here in the US. We're making our own paper, they would likely lose money shipping the stuff for as much room as it takes up and as little as it costs.

I don't know of anyone that thinks that. But then again, it does help to wash your hands and keep them off your face.

I replied: "If that happens don't you think all that toilet paper you have there is going to be sort of a problem?"

The look on his face was priceless.

Not in my world. There hasn't been anything made of paper flushed down my toilet since we built the place in 2008.
Only way 'they' can turn my water off is if they cut the power lines, and then, they have to wait for me to run out of fuel for my genset.

Long time no see guys,

Anyway, https://www.businessinsider...home-outbreak-2020-3

I would like to advocate the idea that this virus is incredibly dangerous.... but to the elderly. If it has killed this many people at one nursing home, I believe it could become a blood bath in our nursing homes throughout the country. Yes, us younger people will probably be fine. The advanced agers will be wiped out... we need to be very careful for the advanced age population.

And yes, I know I've been away from the forum for quite some time, but I am still alive myself.

This may explain in part, how it spreads so much. Patients, can evidently still shed the virus for up to 5 weeks after subsidence of symptoms.

I didn't come away from linked The Lancet article with the same impression..

Yep, and hubby Justin is in self-imposed quarantine. They'll probably be fine... but I suspect older world leaders are now a little more apprehensive.
