Shady scientist says ok, we target the adults of a certain age and health, wa la, COVID-19 is created, and unleashed on the unsuspecting civilized countries of the world. Panic starts, borders shut, trips canceled, airlines drop routes, economy slows. Greta has won, CO2 footprints shrink, the rain forest grows again, drought has ended....

I'm not going to worry until and unless Timmie's shuts down.
THEN I'll panic.

Simple answer, The Stand. It's one of the names used to refer to the disease that decimated the human population in the book.

I can certainly understand this. Especially with the proximity of BC to Washington State which is one of the hot spots in the US. It does make sense. Too bad some of the Democrats in the US can't get it through their head that it is best for the US to keep anyone who could possibly have the disease out of our country too.

Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, Conservatives, Left, Right... this blame the other camp nonsense doesn't help the situation at all.
It's time to stop the constant political bickering, pull together, and all help resolve this immense world-wide problem.[This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 03-26-2020).]

The funny thing is, people have been buying out toilet paper and water, but not stocking up on extra food (based on what I’ve seen at Costco and the grocery store). If they run out of food, what will they need toilet paper for if they have no food to s***??

People at Sams Club today were buying every drop of bottled water and every scrap of toilet paper they could grab.
I asked one young guy with 2 full carts why all the bottled water.
He said: "In case they turn off the water!"
I replied: "If that happens don't you think all that toilet paper you have there is going to be sort of a problem?"
The look on his face was priceless.
