Yeah, but I liked the photoshop image and wanted to share it. I didn't want to post it without crediting the source.
I'm not a particular follower of Anne Applebaum, but her dumbest thought is smarter than your smartest thought.
Of course, that could be said for a lot of people.
Your comments about the late Ashli Babbitt on the "Insurrection" thread had me puking in my mouth--I mean, had me laughing about the idea of my puking in my mouth:
| quote | | Only in the sick, twisted, head of a LEFTIST is the ambush and murder of Ashli Babbit "justified". |
|
That made me think of how a certain Horst Wessel --where's sourmash(?), he should click on that --was exploited by the likes of Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels, who propagandized the otherwise obscure stormtrooper and brown shirt fetishist as a martyr for the Nazi cause. From whence came the Horst Wessel song.
Think of the modern day possibilities. There could be Ashli Babbitt tribute poems and songs circulating now on certain social media, which is where she actually had what proved to be her fatal encounter, months and perhaps even a year or more before that policeman's bullet. When she became radicalized online, she contracted a potentially fatal disease that became truly fatal to her on Jan. 6.
Then I thought of a giant banner that is seen on commonly aired footage of one of the Nazi gatherings, that says (in German) "Germany will be Marxist-free" or something to that effect. I tried to find an image of it online. Be great for your bedroom. A smaller version of it. Unless you have a really large bedroom, like the size of a public ice skating rink.
I was going to express these ruminations in the "insurrection" thread, but there's already so much there, with those tiresome "Breaking News" updates of yours-- a thread that's been FUBAR'd, as it were, with your endless spam and noxious BS--I had decided to forego this. Until I looked in here, where this fits equally well and stands out more prominently, since there's not so much of your background noise on this thread to conceal it.
Was he surreptitiously flashing a "White Power" hand sign?[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 07-30-2021).]

It won't be news to some of us. And only the swing states need audits for President. I'd like to see some down ticket audits, too.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 08-01-2021).]

| quote | Joe Biden had more votes than Donald Trump during every day of voting in the 2020 presidential election in Maricopa County, Arizona, according to a new report by a team of experienced election auditors who have used public records to show why the Arizona state Senate's "audit" of the election is a "hoax."
"Joe Biden was never behind Donald Trump during the entire election period in Maricopa County," said the August 3 report, "Lessons from Maricopa County: Slow Facts versus Fast Lies in the Battle Against Disinformation," demonstrating this finding with charts and tables based on public election records releasedon November 20.
Moreover, of the "74,822 disaffected Republican supportive voters"—Arizonans who voted for most of the Republicans on the ballots but not for Trump in Maricopa County (greater Phoenix) and Pima County (greater Tucson)—"[t]he most highly disaffected of those, 48,577 (65%) voted for Biden; the remaining 26,245 (35%) voted for candidates who could not win, e.g., the Libertarian candidate (19,873), or by over-voting [voting for more than one presidential candidate] (2,009), or voting for no one (4,363)," the report said.
"To put the 48,577 disaffected Republican voters who voted for Biden in perspective, they represent 4.6 times the statewide margin of Trump's 10,457 vote loss to Biden," it said.
The August 3 report by Benny White, a longtime Arizona Republican Party election observer, Larry Moore, retired CEO of Clear Ballot, a federally certified election auditing and technology firm, and Tim Halvorsen, Clear Ballot's retired chief technology officer, is the trio's most recent research that draws on public records to refute and debunk the "large-scale disinformation campaign" that Trump won in Arizona, one of the 2020 election's closest swing states. |

That is from the beginning of a newly published article that I found.
"New Report Provides Further Proof That Arizona ['Cyber NInjas'] Audit Is ‘A Hoax’" Steve Rosenfeld for The National Memo; August 8, 2021. https://www.nationalmemo.co...trump-arizona-audit-
The same article can be found here:
"New report unveils the truth about Trump's Arizona loss — and why the ['Cyber NInjas'] 'hoax' audit is a threat" Steven Rosenfeld (Independent Media Institute) in the Raw Story; August 6, 2021. https://www.rawstory.com/tr...na-audit-2654536226/
What this article is about is THIS:
"Lessons from Maricopa County: Slow Facts versus Fast Lies in the Battle Against Disinformation" Benny White, Larry Moore and Tim Halvorsen for the Independent Media Institute; August 3, 2021. https://independentmediains...ast-Lies-Updated.pdf
THIS report is layed out--to use an old expression--like a Brick S**thouse. A couple of photographs at the beginning to set the mood. Colorful data visualizations, galore. It starts with a Table of Contents. They really ought to be charging admission for it.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 08-08-2021).]
