re: Jussie Smollett (Page 14/22)

This isn’t over by a long shot. I was in the car at 6 AM this morning and for three hours all I heard about was this case on every single radio station. From NPR to AM radio, even the local hits only station.

I watched the press conference that our Mayor Rahm Emanuel gave yesterday. The anger I saw from him and police superintendent Eddie Johnson was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Whether we like it or not Rahm Emanuel is an incredibly connected politician. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to pee him off. And WOW is he mist off. If Smollett thinks that being on the wrong side of Rahm is a good idea he is misinformed.

Mayor Emanuel is the textbook definition of corrupt. When he says that this reeks of corruption it’s bad. With all the things going on with the FBI lately I can only assume he has a connection to someone that will pick up this case as a favor to him. Yesterday on TV he looked personally offended. Don’t forget we have a Mayoral election coming up in a few weeks and he’s not running. He has nothing to lose by grinding his ax all over Smollett. Rahm Emanuel has had his sights set on a bigger office for a long time. What would look better for a lefty then to run an ad touting his law and order crossover appeal based on this case.

hang um high.

That's what I told the wife when we heard the news. Something is going to happen to him for real now and he's probabaly not going to survive this time.

For some reason I disagree. I think he will make even more money on this stunt. Think about it, he got away without being convicted of a crime or challenged. He can still say he has been telling the truth the entire time, and technically Chicago will not challenge his claims. His show will get HUGE viewership for at least the next few shows, maybe even pick up some ratings?
I don't think anyone will put hands on him, death threats are normal program for people of such notoriety. So he will get those, but nothing legitimate will come from them.
In my opinion the Federal Government picking this case up has a higher potential of jail time for him.

The picture is starting to come into focus now. It seems that George Soros has been buying prosecutors across the country.

George Soros Spent $408k on Prosecutor in Jussie Smollett Case

Anti-Trump donor Soros has spent heavily to back “progressive” candidates for local prosecutorial offices across the country. The heavy funding started pouring in from him after the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2014, that claimed black defendants haven’t received fair treatment in our judicial system.

IF America TRULY wants to deal with "the rich" or "income inequality" then we must accept that they hide their "wealth and resources" TAX FREE behind tax right offs. Get rid of 100% of tax right offs for 100% of Americans, and then AND ONLY then will we truly level the field of wealth.

Rich people are able to "right off" money by "donations to "charitable causes". They DO NOT "spend money" they exercise their right to tax right offs.

It is my opinion that the Obamas are behind this.

You have far more faith than I do. I think the deep state is still in place.

It's not faith, it's cynicism. Smollett is expendable. The deep state has nothing to gain by protecting him. They will throw him to the wolves to prove a point.

This is a distraction and a false flag operation.

Entirely possible. This whole drama has a stink to it.

Assuming that the Chicago Police have Smollette dead to rights, someone pulled some strings.
I have no doubt there's a whole lot more to this story. Whether Smollette is prosecuted by the Feds or not, there really does need to be an investigation into what appears to be a very corrupt system.

One has to wonder if any member of this forum (pick one) were to have done what Smollette supposedly did, would the same situation exist?

I smell Obuma all over this. Ive heard some reports even say Michelle pulled some strings.

I also seen that Chicago DA, sent a letter to Smollett demanding payment of $130,000 for wasting police resources. He didnt have money to post his own bail, so cant see that happening. Obuma will probably pay it for him.
