It was said by some pundit, that the Mayor of Chicago was sending Smellit a bill for $130, 000 dollars for investigative costs for the fake nonsense. If Smellit doesn't pay, it goes to Civil Court. Which would unseal the records.
That is what needs to happen !
All of us MAGA wearing hat 'culprits' can sue him in Civil Court for slander for a blatant lie.
Smellit's latest lie is that the attackers were black men wearing 'white face' make up. Underneath nylon masks.

Good... it was a no-harm crime, so I don't necessarily want to see him behind bars, but I do want him to be forced to acknowledge that he faked all of this, and be required to serve probation, community service, and pay for all of the fees and overtime the police had to go through in the investigation. It is important that people get called out for these kinds of things. Jessie really believed people would rally behind him for something he believes exists... but doesn't actually see.

Wasting taxpayer's money via fraud (or mis-management) is NEVER a victimless (no-harm) crime!
