The fronts are 4X10's like yours, but the rear are mounted in the window pillars and I think they are 4X6's Maybe Cerwin Vega makes those, too. Do you have a contact I can call or email on these speakers? Thanks...

BTW, your '84 looks sharp. Here's a photo of my '88

84 and 85 cars had 3.5" headrest speakers, 86-88 had B-pillar 4x6 speakers (all had 4x10's in the dash). 4" speakers will work with adapters, like Metra 82-4602 or similar.

Rodney Dickman sells OE replacement speakers, Crutchfield has several 4" options, like Kenwoods, with the speaker mounting and wiring adapters. The Fiero B-pillar needs shallower magnets. According to me 8 years ago, 1.75" is max depth (love when I answer my own questions)

I ordered the Cerwin Vega's from amazon. If you need more information you can just go to the website. I did also include speaker baffles to help the performance. I am not using any type of amp. Someone had previously installed a factory GM radio from the late 90's early 2000's with a CD player in it. It was good enough sound performance in that tiny car for me not to look any further. The headrest speakers are original to my knowledge but still perform adequately.

This car is wicked clean, I haven't seen one this nice in forever! I wish I had the T-Tops!!!!! Your car is AWESOME!

Brakes are done.

New Pads are in, turned the rotors, and replace 3 calipers. All new soft brake hoses all the way around.

Also greased all of the suspension fittings.....

Updated List got a few more things done. New Belts, A/C recharged, new starter.

UPDATED LIST:

To Do List:
- Passenger CV Boot Torn. Either a boot or shaft to get depending on prices.

Fixed list:
- Interior Lights (dash, overhead, radio) INOP - replaced a blown fuse and rewired the 4th grade science project that was going on behind the fuse panel.
- Power Mirrors Cigarette lighter INOP - fixed with wiring repair.
- Sticky Door Locks - cleaned and lubed the mechanisms.
- New wiper blades installed
- Blown front Speakers - replaced with Cerwin Vega 4x10's -- pretty awesome for about $50!!!
- Radiator electric fan INOP - hardwired and installed a switch.
- Horn - is this a common problem? Yes the fuse is good. Plunger at the wheel was installed wrong.
- Idles about 1800rpm until it warms up??? - May be normal, but new to the Fiero. Idles around 1000rpm in neutral once warm. Convinced this is normal after reading on the forums.
- Rubber trim around the shifter / center console is popped out on passenger side, looks like multiple attempts have been made to fix it. Gluing Complete.
- Cruise Control INOP - Re soldered and wrapped the broken wires in the stalk. Tested Good!.
- Engine Light, Code 13, O2 sensor. Advance Auto Parts had anew GM part in stock, installed and problem solved.
- New tires are here, need to be mounted and balanced - Riken Raptor (Michelin) 215/60R14. Mounted / Balanced / Installed. Highest Road force is now 9lbs after force balancing!!! SIDE NOTE - I want to punch people who use fix=a=flat.
- Temp Gauge - Works but reads low ~130 at full temp. I assumed the thermostat was hung open, but boiled it and it starts to open ~190. Seems right. Ignoring for now, I'll know anything above that is a problem.
- *EDIT* - Brake Pull Left under braking -- need to bleed brakes first, then decide what to do. Left rear caliper frozen, calipers pads and pads are on the way. -- 3-New calipers, pads, and all new hoses. ALL rotors turned and in spec.
- *EDIT* - New Belts Installed, I have no idea how these things didn't just fly off.
- *EDIT* - New Starter, it had an intermittent no crank condition. It was clearly the original starter so I just changed it. Hopefully that solves the problem.
- *EDIT* - Vacuum tested the A/C, tested fine. Put two cans of R134 in, works great, I will put more in the car in the spring since it needs 2.5lbs.

Try repairing the boot first, aftermarket CV shafts for the Fiero are notorious for being of poor quality.

There is no repairing the boot that is on it, it's falling apart and completely shot. Do you think it is worth just replacing the boot and re-greasing?

Just confirming for you that fast idle is totally normal until the car warms up.

I meant replace, but yes, take the CV shaft out, clean it well, and install new boots and grease.
