Out of curiosity what type of flex agent needs to added to the paint and clear to avoid the spider web cracking on the poly/flexible body parts?
Interesting thread, I've painted a few of my own and need to address issues with cracking already. Super super disappointed it happened so I'm trying to learn what needs to be done.

Flex additive will make the paint/clear coat more flexible, but it is only temporary and intended only to allow the flexible bumper cover to be installed. The paint will harden over time to normal. I didn't use any on mine and had no trouble but i did sand all he original paint off down to the factory primer.

This is Brandywine over OEM black and OEM silver metallic. It looks like less black fade over the silver but not much.
Silver on the left.
Outside.

That color is very nice, it looks like the paint is 10 feet deep!!! It's gonna look really good!!!------------------ "Discord" Red 1988 GT under restoration!
