Folks, this might be a good time to review rayb's participation in this J6 thread from just over a year ago: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/...2/HTML/000229-7.html

That link is to page seven, where rayb tells us what he believes, but it might help to go back to the middle of page six for a more clear understanding.

I believe the rump is and does evil
I believe neo-nazi support the tump
I believe racists support the rump
I believe religious NUTS support the rump

I believe the evil anti democratic rump supporters will LOSE BIG TIME
AND AGAIN CLAIM THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN
even when the vote is 10 million less this time

Please try to stay on topic.

This thread is about Tucker Carlson and his approach to journalism.

Please read the last article that I posted by him and comment on the content.

It's Tucker time once again.

Here is the point where Tucker loses me.

"One side saw these changes for what they were: Let’s completely change American society, from the bottom to the top. Let’s eliminate any sense of shared culture or history. Let’s atomize the country to the point where there’s no viable opposition to what we’re doing. And once we’ve done that, let’s addle everyone with prescription drugs. Let’s encourage them to be unhealthy, unmarried, and childless, and then we can do whatever we want."

How does anyone benefit from destroying our society?

The wealthy elite need a productive workforce to produce wealth and consume. Without production and consumption the economy collapses. And when the economy collapses the people on top fall also.

What exactly do the wealthy elite want to do right now that is being blocked by people being healthy, getting married, and having babies? The only way you can exploit the masses is if the masses can either work or consume. If they are just helpless dependents then they drag down the entire country.

why do they insist so much over and over we read their LIES

any one with a bit sense knows the F[t] ucker is a lying sack
his gig is to LIE
that is all he does tell tall tails with a HARD RIGHT SPIN

THE FACT THAT NO RIGHTWING FLACK IS EVER KNOW TO TELL THE TRUTH

LOOKS TO ME TO BE A REAL POINT EVERY RWNJ HERE MISSED

PLEASE TRY TO FIND FACTS AND REAL EVIDENCE BEFORE YOU POST MORE LIES BY UCKER

I don't know the answer to your question, I wish I did.

With that said, look at what has happened to America in the last 20 to 30 years.
Everything that he has described has happened.

One has to wonder why, and what is the driving force behind the changes.

Not it has not. Americans still have a strong sense of shared history.

Overall Americans are proud of their country. We have no issue with our citizens running away to live in other countries.

That is definitely not true. It's been something that has been increasing since about 2009. I'm not going to make aspersions as to whether or not that was because of the election of President Obama, or the repercussions of the Great Recession and people just felt their money would go further... but never the less... it's been steadily increasing since 2009. Last I looked, there's something like 50-60 thousand retirees per year that move overseas to retire. These are not poor people, these are people who have a good deal of money and want to live like kings in other places. The total number of expats that receive social security (retired) while living "full time" overseas is nearing a million (for people being retired, that's quite a lot). There's also a significant uptick year over year of people who are outright renouncing their citizenship altogether, though that number is still very small in comparison (like like less than 7,000 citizens a year).

Still... I don't know to what point or by what metric we say it's an "issue," but... it makes me sad to think that someone would want to leave the United States and retire somewhere else. I love this world, and appreciate a lot of different cultures, but the United States is who I am... it's part of the reason why I get so enraged at radical leftism which seeks to outright destroy it. I don't view this as merely a "land" that people can live and we should just change it to the latest thing that appeals to whomever. I view the United States in all of it's struggles as a grand concept born almost out of a combination of a perfect sequences of events... that it was so strong and good, it's been able to overcome so much adversity and struggle. I can't even begin to tell you how angry it makes me.

I grew up with "America" in every fiber of my being. This is how I grew up... this is what I grew up with. It kills me... just kills me to see what's happening right now.

Overall, yes, but not to the high percentages of my youth.
