If I still lived in Vallejo I would happily attend this function. Unfortunately I am now 2500 plus miles away.

Maybe but all of my cars have engine swaps and that would not make CARB happy. Just visiting I could likely get away with it, but I have not checked out local/state regs in quite a while.

If you're legal out of state I'm sure you're OK for a visit. Moving back might be a problem...

I'll put you down for next year. LOL!

I'll mark my calendar. I'm in Clearlake, so maybe I'll meet at the starting
point and do half the run to Calistoga and then head home from there
That way I wouldn't be driving to Napa - Calistoga - Napa - Calistoga to
home. There are alot of nice restaurants in St Helena (maybe too expensive?)
I'll be looking to see what the finalized plans are.

Hi Larry,

You're on the list! Lot's of nice restaurants in the area but we're going to keep this one casual.

I'm going to be requesting text numbers from participants (completely voluntary) so I can set up a group text list. Just in case we need to communicate during the run. You can PM me here on Pennock's.

Just wanted to let you know I won't be able to make the drive. Something
else has come up I need to do. Looks like it's going to be great weather and
I hope everyone has a good time.

Your first event and you already had as many Fieros show up as the famous coastal run. It goes to show that location of these events is everything. Hopefully this will be a recurring event that gathers more people from up north of the Bay Area since I have noticed a few new people on here from Napa and Santa Rosa.

It's also very funny that in one of the pics of the red Fiero driving through town, if you compare it to the new Honda and Hyundai parked to the right, the Fiero looks years ahead of even the newer cars on the road. Glad you had a good turnout.

Looked like a fun event. I'm in the Fairfield area and would of loved to be part of this. Maybe something this summer?

Since you mentioned it...

The 16th Annual California Coast Run WILL be taking place later this year. Date has not been set yet but likely to be in late Sept. Unfortunately Hwy 1 may still be closed on part of our usual route. That will NOT prevent us from holding the event. We are currently monitoring the progress as well as exploring different routes to get that beautiful coast run and those great twisties. Stay tuned, but in the meantime you can get some background and see pictures of last year's event here...
