The move is done, starting to get the shop set up, what a pain, had to gut the wiring and start over, still waiting on concrete...

Planning on going down to Barret-Jackson Fri-Sat, would like to meet up with anyone else going.

All,

Reminder. A short run to Fountain Hills the tomorrow, 27th. We'll be hooking up with the crusier's at Phil's.
The plan will be to arrive at Phil's (www.philsfillingstationgrill.com/) around nooneish. As it is a cruz-in, just drive on in.

I will be leaving out of the Whole Foods parking lot at Ray Road and 101 (Chandler) around 11:20 or so. Join and we can cruze on up the 101 to 202to 87 the BeeLine. A real cruze then. Hope to see a few Fieros there. Or what ever you bring , should it fir the bill as a cruzier.

Yes, I was actually on my way. Daria and I were just transitioning from the east bound 303 to I17 south when the 87 I bought a few months ago started sputtering. Yes, this is embarrassing. I've never had the gas gauge go below about 3/8 of a tank until Sunday. I was going to stop at the AM/PM at 19th ave and Deer valley. The gauge still read a hair above 1/4 tank but yes, I was out of gas. That's my excuse for not making it to the event in Fountain Hills. Lame, I know. But that's my story and I guess I'm sticking to it.

Four of us made the trip to Fountain Hills on Sunday and it was a fine day for a drive. There was a large crowd and the food was good. Lots of cars to look at, lots of folks to talk to. All in all a very fine day. Looking forward to the next outing.

Drove my Fiero about 60 miles on Sunday up to New River and back. It ran well and it was so nice out the windows were down and the top stowed. Would have been great to join you guys in Fountain Hills, hopefully next time.

Hi All,
Well March is rapidly closing and the BOP & G event is just around the corner. I hope we have a whole slew of cars and drivers registered. Registered attendees and those planning to “show” vehicles should arrive before 10AM. Those planning on walking the gathering of vintage and newer of the Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs and GMC products – the event officially opens at 10AM, and closes at 3PM.
As usual I will be leaving from the Whole foods parking lot in Chandler on the SE corner of Ray and Price Road around 9 – 9:15 to arrive at the Pavilions before 10. If you wish to join for the run north I’ll see you there, 88 Red GT.

Yes, I think the May will be the cruise up to Tortilla Flats. I may be on travel. If so I will arrange for a member to head up the event. If I am about I plan to be there for this one.

Thanks, if I'm feeling up to it in the morning (the blood clot a couple of months ago has taken a lot out of me.) I'll come down to the valley with a stop in Payson for breakfast. How will I find you?

Five brave Fiero owners registered for the show and two more showed up for support. Darryl took first place with his black GT with Joe taking second with his low miles 84 SE. All in all it was a fun day with beautiful weather and great conversation. I forgot my camera so hopefully someone will post pictures.

All,
So far only 2 responses. Not a great interest - but that may be the case. I can pull in a week - but for me, I can not push out.

The initial meeting point for the run to Tortilla Flats is at the Fiesta Mall at Alma School and the Superstition Hwy; 60 West, the Dutch Brothers Coffee Shop at 8:30 and a secondary may be the QUICK TRIP at S. Idaho and W Apache Trail at 9 ish.

Make it Sunday as opposed to Saturday? But, I can not push a week.
Any more interested?
Let me know soon.

My family (5 adults) will be visiting Tucson & Phoenix 16May2019 to 20May2019. I'm wondering about transportation suggestions from locals with inside info.
You can PM me to avoid cluttering this thread.

All,
Update on the next activity is a run through the Apache Trail to Tortilla Flats for a late breakfast or early lunch the first Saturday in May the 4th. The initial meeting point for the north and western folks is the Wendy’s just off of 17, Deer Valley and 23 ave., approximately 7:30 – 7:45. for the run to Tortilla Flats. For those coming in from the west and north, the southern folk and near east valley - the next meetup point is the Fiesta Mall at Alma School and the Superstition Hwy; 60 West at the Dutch Brothers Coffee Shop around 8:30 and
A final collection will be the QUICK TRIP at S. Idaho and W Apache Trail at 9ish. That should put us in the flats about 10 or so. If that doesn't work out - there is always COBBs in AJ for a good breakfast.
As far as I am concerned -- drive whatever is running!

I hope to take some really nice pictures of of bunch of Fieros rounding some of those curves!

Me and Myra dusted off the Fiero and added some oil this evening.
We are planning on hanging out at the Pavilions for a couple of hours tomorrow (3:30-5:30pm-ish) and then we will try to make the 5-guys burger run on Sunday.

All,
The AZ Fieros' March Meet will be the BOP and GMC Car Show at the Pavillions, March 15.If you are planning to attend let me know.  Please take advantage of the early registration if you are planning to enter the show.  Pretty good time.  Lots of really nice cars to look over.Hope to see a bunch of Fieros there - in or out of the show - even if they have lumped the mid engined two seater with the front engined Pontiac Soltice this year.

Hey All
Heard officially last night that the BOP is still a go for tomorrow.  So hoping for a good showing.BUT IF!!! - you are showing any signs of flu (sore throat, sniffles, excessive sneezing and coughing PLEASE do not attend the show.  Stay home and get well.  For the rest of us that do take in the show, participate or not - please take whatever precautions you deem necessary for the foreseeable future.Best

Hey all of you Fiero folks! One of our local (Phoenix area) members wants to have a T Top transplanted from a donor Fiero to his daily driver. He is looking for a person who could do the work or a recommendation on a local body shop that could to the work. Traveling to neighboring states ( Nevada, California, New Mexico, Colorado) is not out of the question. If you can help please PM me with your suggestions/recommendation and I will forward along.

Thanks;
