Can this guy not do anything without screwing up? He just announced Paul Ryan as the next President of the USA. Not as the next VP.

Lets see you go out in public under that pressure and not make a single verbal mistake during all of your speeches. I even gave a pass to Obama on them, and i don't like the man but i know what public speaking is like, and no one is perfect.

But if that is what it takes for you to dislike the guy, more power to you.

This is not what it takes for me to dislike him, this just exemplifies his stupidity. He is a crook. He is a cheat and a liar. Let's see his Taxes and let's see his birth certificate.
Let's see how he responds to the Bain charges... LEt's see how he plans to save our economy by giving the richest tax breaks and increasing my taxes?

I have LOTS of reason to hate the Man.

Obama has done nothing but good for us so far. The jobs outlook is better than it was 4 years ago. I am in a better position that I was under Bush. I am actually making a living and owning a home now... Why? Because Obama created jobs.. Jobs like the one that I work in and many thousands of others.

You can tout Romeny all you want. IT is a free country and we all have our opinions. But when Romeny loses, I will be laughing my arse off.

And he NEEDS to release those taxes. My wife and I BOTH had to release our taxes for me to get MY job!

1 - His residence is not in question
2 - If he was a tax cheat, he would be under investigation by the IRS. He isn't.
3 - And again, i want too see YOU go out and publicly speak and make zero mistakes. You cant. No one can. Even if you read from the prompter most of the time as Obama does.
4 - Liar? He's a politician, of course he lies. They all do so what is the point?

You are an idiot if you honestly believe that.

Works for me. I like the super rich having money to invest in the economy and their businesses so i can remain employed.
EDIT: And I'm not touting Romney, as you put it, as i don't like any career politician. But Romney is a far better choice than the alternative that the Democrat party currently offers. Obama has a proven record of socialist disaster. Its time for a 'change', and past time to kick him to the curb.. That experiment failed. Badly.

really what job was that? im not doubting you i just never heard of having to release your taxes to get a job. signing a credit check yes but not a full out tax release which i think is illegal. but you say lets see his taxes..... why? there are more tax cheats in obama administration than i can count with all my digits. as for the job market id love to know what fanatsy news your watching. as i see a lot of people still unemployed. and im not talking loser nobodys with no skills im talking years of factory experiance or bachlors degrees in practical areas. that or the ones who do have jobs have had to take ones that pay half of what they should be getting. i know an aviation mechnic who was making $30 an hour but settled for a $13 an hr production job. i actually work with him right now.

Obama has done nothing to harm me in anyway. Bush took away freedoms, crashed the economy and and started an illegal war.
Romney/Ryan would have a repeat of the Bush failed economics.

Ryan is for a ban of Birth Control.
Romney has stated numerous times he does not care about the poor. Most of us ARE poor.
Ryan wants to end Medicare
Romney and Ryan BOTH want to hike taxes on the middle class and the poor.

your sounding like a lot of those nut jobs on the UFO shows. high security clearance doesnt mena you cant disclose what you do you just cant share details of the work you do.... for example. i work a nuclear facility..... <secret but not revealing.... i build nuclear bombs and these blue wires control everything!!!!!! <releasing classified info.

so common tell us what you do!!!! i mean if your taking a note from harry rieds standards if i accuse you of not having a high security job you havre to prove it right? just like mitt is a tax cheat although theres no proof of it right?

I think that is why most of us get them around here. Or at least it seems to be. I know when i piss people off in political threads, my red tends to grow a little. I have only handed out a couple of negatives, due to unprovoked personal attacks on myself or other members, but not due to what they feel, even when they are wrong

And just to clarity the misunderstanding above, i'm NOT a Romney fan. I just disagree with the types of 'attacks' on him. I would disagree with the same tactics used against the other side too.

I do think hes a better choice than the incumbent, but neither is 'my candidate' as there isn't one. This will be a "less of 2" evils event.

I never give a neg unless Someone is truely tasteless. Like Ray B a lot of times.

With that said, I do not think Obama is the Messiah. He is still a politician. But the republicans scare me. Especially after their last two terms.
Today's republican party is. It the same as 30 years ago. They show a nasty racist agenda way too often.

its unfortunate but its how politics works.

It would be nice to see a campaign that was solely based on what each candidate wanted to do, and their skill set. About why they should vote for them, not just taking shots at the opponents to say why not to vote for the opponent.

And that goes for BOTH parties. Neither are innocent.

And this would categorize President Obama as....?

I tend to not get into political debates as the idiocy runs high, hard, and fast, but that post alone simply defied logic.
Obama has done nothing but good for this country?

President Obama oversaw the biggest increase in National Debt under his administration that we have seen in our short history as a nation, to the tune of $5,258,977,706,438.39, which, if each and every tax-filing American was made responsible for, would amount to $64,219.88 per taxpayer.
You have $64,219 to give up this afternoon?

Fast and Furious started as a bureaucratic bungle. President Obama enacting executive privilege to keep it under wraps turned it into a betrayal of trust of the American people.

Despite numerous attempts to dump fake money into the economy, that job growth you so readily tout is proceeding at a rate scarcely above normal for any economy returning from a recession. We'd be in the same place had the President sat on his hands, and not spent 5 trillion.

And, seriously, we still don't know for sure if the guy in the Oval Office is American. He won't come out and show his actual birth certificate. Why NOT?

Let's put it this way...

Which party reversed the policy that was helping us and gave us unmatched growth brought to us by Ronald after the problems caused by Carter? See, it works both ways. ( note I'm not either party .. but i can point out the hypocrisy in statements like that )

Consider yourself lucky. I know more than a few who had their unemployment benefits run out and are still looking for regular employment.

The job outlook isn't great and it's been that way for more than a few years now, with no signs of any major boom on the horizon. You lost a job in a bad economy, then got and left a couple because of complete misrepresentation - now you find yourself in service to an industry that isn't dependant on disposable income. It's a nice place to be when everything goes to hell, but it's hardly indicative of what's going on in the big picture.

In the Tech Sector I see LOTS of job openings. I cannot speak for the Service sector, but the tech sector is doing well. Sure I know some folks without work. But in their case, they either are not really fit for the work they want to find.. Or are too lazy to take a hard working job to pay their bills.

As a matter of fact, the industry I am in, is very closely tied to economics. We make power... you can't buy power, we lay people off. We had a LOT of layoffs a few months ago. Most have been hired back. In the last several years we have been WAY down of production/sales. We are still way down from where we were 10 years ago. But we are up quite considerably from 4 years ago.

And I never said our problems were fixed.. just that they are better.

No as a matter of fact, Bush would have been better for the Nuclear industry... As he would have been less likely to put more restrictions on it. But Obama is better for the country.
