As Carol and I both posted in your Pete's Fiero Facebook page we are coming if you are going to have a run. So tell all those friends of yours we are willing to drive from Michigan to Pennsylvania to ride on one of your cruises. Just keep the hurricanes away this time.

Mark - If you guys need a place to stay, we'd love to have you! Friday night & Saturday night, depending on your plans. 2 cats and 2 kids, not sure if you're allergic to either

Thank you Rich. We might just take you up on that. We already have met your two kids and I don't think they will be any problems and cats are fine too. Both of us are really looking forward to seeing you, Meg and your family along with the crew from Pennsylvania. We really enjoy riding there and the fellowship is great.

I posted on fb, but you answered my question here. I'm coming either with my beater grand prix- or hopefully a trans am if I can buy one already. Very excited for this, haven't cruised with you guys in a year
I wish more people in the area would come out, Pete's cruises really are something else.
Edit to say that I'll be out for the Sat event only.

I should be able to make it. I wanna try and get my exhaust leak fixed again first though. hopefully ill be able to fix it maybe this weekend without having to pull the head off.
OK, here's the deal. I have wanted to come to every run you have put together, but there is this not so little thing called distance.
I won't drive 500 miles just for a cruise...but...I think I can do it to get together with some old friends (you, Mark and Carol). Then, with the list of other committals...yeah, there are several people here I would like to meet. Now for the next issue. I admit that I am tight on money...is there any cheap lodging available for me (I am looking for Fri and Sat)?
Looks like the convertible might be going to Pennsylvania. Please order some good weather....rain really kills the joy of this car.
Don't quite take this as a commitment yet...there are a couple things that could stand in the way.

Hey CowsPatoot, I look forward to seeing you. Hope you have a good ride with the convertable and you have the overheating issues all shook out. However, if you need to we can bring a couple of gallons of water if you need it. Is your mother going to try to come too?

I will put the chances of me coming at 95%. No mother this time...she lives in West Branch, so it was easy for he to ride along last time. I will most likely be alone this time.
Yes, cooling issues are resolved. It turns out we fried the head gasket that weekend...I assume it happened in Charlevoix when we were stuck in traffic. I shut it off before it shut itself off...but that temp gauge was high enough to set off alarms and buzzers that I didn't know the car had. Regardless, I got it home, set it aside for a little while...then did a complete overhaul of the engine compartment (low mileage duke replacement with krylon rebuild, fresh wiring harness, powdercoated parts, new mounts, etc). She has been running beautifully since then. Funny thing is...I still don't know if the radiator fan works. I have about 6k miles on the new engine (mostly pushing it hard on mountain roads), and haven't managed to get it to heat up to the point where we can find out. In theory it should work...it has all new wiring in the engine compartment, a new relay, and we know the fan itself works from jumping the relay that weekend.
Completely redone, and it still doesn't look as good as Pete's.

Patoot - if you make the trip, we'll do our best to find room for you somewhere Might be an air matress or cot, but you wont have to sleep outside. (Of course, If I dont help clean the house, I might be out there myself.)
If the weather is good, we can do a campfire and adult beverages Friday night.

CowsPatoot, your engine compartment looks great. Nice job. Like I said Carol and I are looking forward to seeing you again. And you won't regret going to one of Pete's cruises. Just plan on moving along smartly. Pete can sure make his Duke get through the corners well.

Pete, I'm planning on attending this one so long as the my car and the new setup keep behaving itself! Sounds like this is going to be a good cruise! How many miles is the actual cruise on Saturday?

Under the knife for hernia surgery next Wednesday Aug 8th so that knocks me out of Fiero activities for at least a couple of weeks. I should be there for the fall cruise. If its closer to the Delaware river that would be a plus. Have fun on this one and please be sure to post pics.

Another bump. I'll be coming out in my trans am whenever I finally buy one this week
I also plan to bring out my remaining fiero parts, some of them free that I need to unload. I really don't want to trash them so maybe one of you guys could use em.

Ryan im estimating between 40 to 80 miles. This sunday im planning the route and will update. Lets have a good showing folks. We havent done much since Carlisle and Fieros love to run so get off the couch, bar stool, or toilet seat get in you car gas up (the car not you) and come out for fun. We dont bite judge complain award trophies act silly that we do and best of all no registration. As I would say in 80s slang "It will be totally rad and not chilling will be most bogus!!"

But, we love Pete's cruises enough to come and participate.
HELL YEAH!!!
I can't wait, last time it was one of the highlights of my year cruising with you guys. Too bad my buddy Kenny (the white 86GT aka freedom on here) is on the west coast now and can't accompany me out to PA
I wish we had some more New Yorkers participate, but a lot of the fiero owners around here are old farts that just go to lame car shows to try to win trophies
Pete my IMSA has finally cooled down after chasing that 3.4 @ Carlisle . So if Ryan and PK attend we could have 2 IMSA fieros and 2 turbo fieros for your cruise. See you then.

Awesome! This is sounding like it's going to be a fun cruise! Although I'm pretty sure PK's IMSA was hauled off for some upgrades recently.
Not to steal your thunder Pete, but if anyone is interested, Sunday is the Duryea Hill Climb in Reading, PA. Starts at 9 and goes until about 4. It's a great time with a unique variety of "cars" that's hard to find at any other racing event. It's also special to me because it's where I first laid eyes on a Fiero and then bought my current car the following weekend...7 years ago! Granted my car makes it through Saturday, I plan on cruising up there Sunday, so if anyone wants to tag along, let me know.

Sadly my IMSA won't be there.. its off getting some big changes done to its engine bay and won't be done for a couple of months.
