Vonov:

The one I saw was all maroon. Looked fairly nice, but dirty. Didn't look inside or anything, I get nervous doing that in parking lots, never know who you're going to piss off. Pretty nice notchie though.

My wife was coming home from work downtown on 65 and she saw a white 2M4 last night. Kind of funny, we've seen more Fieros here in the last week than we ever saw in Richmond...

I've got my black 88 GT that is my toy/baby/obsession/money pit. I will need a clutch soon. I have a nice garage but it will be a bit before i get benches built and all the tolls and stuff sorted from the move. 'Betty' will need a clutch this summer, if anyone in the are has done them and is willing to do a nice job on mine for a reasonable price let me know and we'll talk timing and logistics.

Look forward to seeing you guys around!

Yeah, it seems like the only time I see 'em is when I'm NOT in my Fiero, so they prob think I'm nuts or something when I honk and wave...('course most people probably think I'm nuts anyway...)

That fits the description of the maroon '87 belonging to the guy I met at Lowe's.

Lurker, I'm still saving that piece of plexiglass for ya...

jb1, I'm not sure what Mark has in mind for it, but this is a 4x8 sheet of fairly thick plexi, 1/4" or so. If what you have will satisfy Mark's requirement, and Mark doesn't need it (or still want it), you're welcome to the sheet if he doesn't want it (sounds like you might have a use for it).

Ok, it's not finish sanded and buffed yet, but here's my car as it looks now...

Worth every second of the time spent in prep...wound up having to shoot it in my carport; wish I'd been able to find another paint booth available, (had one lined up, but fell thru at the last minute) but that's why I put extra clear on it, to allow for sanding out trash. It still came out fairly nice.

jb1 and vonov:
this whole plexiglas thing came up when i was working on my flushmounts, in regard to covers. ive got some thinner acrylic which will probably work just fine, so i dont "need" (want, maybe. need? no.) more plexiglas. so if you guys can find a use for it, all the better. now, if someone has an isuzu 5 speed gearbox laying around gathering dust, lmk.

maybe something we should do for the proposed meet in june is make a list of everyone's spare parts and swap 'em. or maybe between us we have enough parts to build an entire car!

Found a coupe to drive, but it needs just a few more things before I officially put it on the road. The Pontiac Show is next month in Pigeon Forge on the 3rd and 4th. It's been really busy here lately. The great thing is that most of my time has been spent working with Fiero's! I hope to have my coupe fixed up enough to drive by the end of the month.

Vonov, any plans for a meet in your part of the woods? Missed out on the fun last time... I'll be sure not to let it happen again.

If you middle TN guys plan a cookout or something, I'll be there... Hopefully with a veteran attendee (threeofclubs) if I can coax him into making the trip.

As for anybody that's interested, a Sevierville/Pigeon Forge get together later this summer could be in the works. It'll definately be after the All Pontiac Show. Stay tuned!

Charlotte's only about a half hour from me (or less, depending on how much I want to risk being pulled over, and before you say anything Lurker, it ain't like it used to be, lol---nowadays I can get in more trouble than just a ticket, just for getting pulled over, the way things are in my neck of the woods right now). I kind of hate to host another shivaree at my place without giving somebody east or west of Middle Tennessee a shot at it...it'd kinda feel like we were hogging all the fun, or maybe that we couldn't be bothered to go visiting in their backyard; don't want to be rude to our East Tennessee brethren, do we?

Somebody's gotta let me know where this one will be at. Got some free time so I MAY make it out of Memphis for a get-together. Don't know if I'll bring the Fiero though, just got back from the bank and the car loves to cruise at +110! Don't need any more tickets.

The get together is to be in Charlotte, TN on June 17th. It's right next to Dull and Frog Pond if that helps

Mapquest to Charlotte, TN I'll shoot out PM's to all those coming that need a physical address. Once you get to Charlotte its pretty hard to get lost.

Toss a PM of directions in this direction please.

Don't know if I will have something to drive ready, but I'm going to try.

Anybody have any or know where I can find some 88 parts? I need a set of automatic transmission cooling lines.

Hey guys! FYI : The GA club is having a cookout at Ronnie's house on July 8th. I'm going to try and make it down. If there's some interest from anybody from here wanting to go also, let me know and we can caravan down. Ronnies place is a little ways east of Atlanta. You might want to plan an overnight stay if you live really far away from Atlanta. He mentioned camping as an option, or there are hotels not far away.

The link to his thread is GA Poker Run and Cookout .

Thanks for the directions wanobi... Working right now on getting a car in shape to make the trip.

I bought my first gravity feed gun a few years ago. I'd rather eat worms than go back to siphon feed.

Btw, Rod, I still haven't had much time to do any polishing; would it be okay to bring my buffer to our get together?
