Definitely. The interior was dirty - I just wanted to get some pics once I got the pieces installed. The console and the shifter surround are separating pretty bad and need to be redone - but I wanted to do this first. No matter how much you do, there's always more.
And I can't decide if I want to put the engine turned pieces on the ash try doors or leave them black. Also, one is broken. I'm waiting on a replacement from The Fiero Store.
I installed mine last year. Where did you get your panels from? Mine are real aluminum foil (with the engine turned design) and coated with a thick vinyl clear coating. I had to get mine from a local shop that custom made the panels because I could not locate a dash kit that offered the engine turned design.

Well, crap. I thought I was the first to do this one.
I don't know where it came from. It was a birthday present from a friend, but yes, it is a foil based vinyl graphic. It looks very much like the stuff on the website you posted, but I don't think this has the thick clearcoat you mentioned. The stuff I used came on 24" wide rolls, I believe.
I've got a piece of actual aluminum plate that has been engine turned and comparing the two, you can barely tell the difference. I was amazed.
Have you got any good pics of your dash? I'd like to compare the products. I may buy some of the stuff you used to check it out. The stuff I used was pretty expensive because it's made from real silver or gold foil.

The dash panels on mine are not the tape I posted, they are foil like yours but with a thick clear coating like regular dash kits. I didn't buy the material, I gave them the panels and they did all the work. They do a lot of custom work on kit cars and street rods. The panels ran about $250 to do them all. I'll take pics tonight.
Yes, But that is just vinyl tape with the engine turned design. Formula88's and mine use an aluminum foil backing that has the engine turned design on it. Mine appears to have a much thicker clear coat then his. I posted the link for others to look at, I did not use what is in the link.
Oreif, is your odometer accurate? 'Cause if it is, that is one low mileage Fiero!
The mileage is "after restoration" The car originally had 86,400 on it. When the V-8 was dropped in and all the other work was done, I rolled the odometer back to "0" and filled out paperwork to have the title changed. So the title actually states the miles of the frame before restoration and that the odometer shows after restoration miles.

It might be. Since both are foil covered with vinyl, it just might be the same company made the stuff and they just sell it thru many vendors.
Quite possible. I'll try to find out where my stuff came from. I believe mine is actually a silver foil rather than aluminum. They also make a gold version that's supposed to be actual gold foil with the pattern.
I like how it looks, but without something like the clear you have on yours, I'm afraid it won't weather very well. I have some extra that I may try to redo it more like yours. What kind of shop did your work? I'll have to see if I can find someone local that can handle mine.
I also found a company that will take your specs and cut actual aluminum plate and engine turn that to your specifications. But it's $$$. Still, it would be pretty cool, since you could use 1/8" or so plate and just replace the dash panels rather than cover them.

Check your local upholstery shops that restore dashes and such. The shop by me does interior restorations like dashes, seats, convertible tops, etc. They had the engine turned design as well as brushed aluminum and many of the wood grain/carbon fiber material. The difference was they had the stuff in sheets rather than generic cut-outs like many of the dash kit places. So they can cut them for a custom fit. The only reason I went with them was the engine turned design isn't made by a regular dash kit company.
