We had a surprise visit from a member who lives in Georgia now and her husband. Guess who, here's a hint, her car as she was pulling in after a 14 hour drive. Some other PFF members cars, think Maple leaf. Some others. More to follow.

I'ved been fine Arizona. I didn't get to take my car to the show this year, but I would have put it in display only class anyway. Now for some out of the ordinary Fieros. more to follow.

Did anybody see V8 Archie? I looked all over the grounds and it looks like he didn't go this year. The turn out wasn't as large as usual too, but that could be blamed on the weather. The brief showers didn't ruin the show and the weather wasn't that bad actually. Here's a couple of more pictures.

Sorry, I didn't make the trip. I've been to every Carlisle Kit Car show, this is the 1st one I've missed.
As of last Wednesday, the forcast was for 3 days of rain at Carlisle & I just didn't feel like driving 730 miles each way just to stand in the rain. To be honest, all day today I've felt like I was playing hookey from school.
Looks like everyone had a good time, thanks for posting the pics.
I see that Bob Rutz was there, that means he'll be here by Tuesday.

Nice to see Miss Tress on the road again and with her chin spoiler repaired.

I believe so as Tom Derr, one of our co-organizers was interviewed, however I don't get that news channel here (we're an hour east) so hopefully someone will let us know!
And we missed you too Aus, our house this weekend was not the same without you here with the rest of the gang.

The charcoal colored Mera was being sold for $21,500 The yellow 328 was being sold for $12,900. Here are some more pictures. I took several hundred. The green Lambo clone has a 3.8 SC engine under the fake covers.

Fresh from a long needed relaxing I'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone who attended our 12th Annual Fieros at Carlisle show. This year's Carlisle was one of the best ever - and a big thanks goes to the many volunteers who pitched in. We had over 82 cars on the showfield - 75 registered to participate in the actual judging. The weather was a 9.5 - minus .5 for some wind and an 11 AM sprinkle that lasted less than 10 minutes.
A big thanks goes to Tom Derr our chief liason with Carlisle Productions and one of our major sponsors, Freysinger Pontiac. Tom did an excellent job getting the Fiero show set up and running with Carlisle Productions and also helped Don Haag set up a great tech session with Brad Strine from Freysinger. Thanks to his wife Sara and daughter Salena as well!
Another big thanks goes to my husband Matt, again for putting up with me and all of his hard work leading up to and during the show.
A thanks to Clint Nichols for helping to procure sponsorship. And a great big thanks to all of our sponsors!
Also a thanks to MAFOA Board Members Denny Lambert, Bruce Homeyard, Rick Stewart and Stephanie Lambert for all they did leading up to and during the show. Each one was instrumental in some part of the planning process - and Rick and Bruce were of great help today at the show.
I'm sure I'm going to forget some of the people who helped to pitch in today during the show - many first time volunteers! - but here goes a good effort:
A big thanks to Nancy & Mike Mayer for helping, especially with registration and cleanup.
A thanks to Wes Williams for being a great club motivator and extra set of hands!
Thanks to Anthony and Lori Cook for coming all the way down from Canada to lend a hand - and to Vonnie Lausch for helping to count ballots! Also to our other Candadian pals for all of their help cleaning up!
Thanks to Ellen & Gordon Gay for handing out ballots and being another extra set of hands (it's being to sound like an octupus!)
A big thanks to Marc Tessier (GoKart) and his family for helping to set up the raffle and trophies. Marc had been away from the Fiero scene for awhile and I know we're glad to have him back!
And thank you to all who judged special awards, assisted with cleanup and many other things! Your help was appreciated and I'm very optimistic at having a 13th Annual Fieros at Carlisle!
~ Jennifer

Here's a good shot of the orange Fiero. Here are the trophy winners. My personal favorite! Jen let my son and I set up the trophies! As close as we were going get to get to one without bringing a Fiero!

Shows like this make me wish that I didn't live in the middle of nowhere, Denver is a long way from anywhere. Looks like a good turn out. Nice cars. Joe

The blue McLaren type car is by DDR Motorsports. Here's a link to a thread at Ari's Kitcar forum: http://www.kitcar.ca/index.php?topic=6694.0 There's a build thread there, too. Somewhere?
