A: Needs nothing , it's a gem

B: Has a few problems, under $500 & it's on the road again

C: Has a few problems, over $1000 & its on the road again

D: It's on it's last legs, Oh god, please buy it !

E: I'll pay you to take it !

CoolBlue I will give you $50 for your car. I will even pick it up.
Both my cars are B but I am not selling.
I have parts to finish one and it will be an A
But I choose F

Try one more time David, nothing wrong with the email I think you made that up. I just did 4 test emails to myself and they ALL came with no prob.

Now, I got you PM and will post in full so all can see what you left out....

I am a respected member of this site. I've gone out of my wat to help out fellow members country wide with verious things. Even helpped a member trying to buy a Fiero that lived in another state. I check over the car for him & gave him a detailed report on it.

I saved him a great deal of money for airfair & lodging. The car turned out to have quite a few problems that would have cost him alot of money & time to get fixed.

All the members here depend on each other for help on keeping our Fiero's running and I hope you can be a valued member also.

David

David,
If not one thinks the same about my statement, I will retract it.

Greg, you're way off. I'm pretty sure no one agrees with your comment being aimed at CoolBlue (possibly others, but not him). And I'm one of those people who disagrees.

well said, i dont agree that coolblue is someone who is full of themself. Yes he does own a very very nice extreme low mileage car. so what if its a trailer queen? Thats what he wants and something other ppl are not likely to see when they goto car shows. I have never seen him say "your car is crap because its been used, or some other lame excuse." All i have seen from him is his great contribution's to the forum.

Nice looking car there greg. - I mean that.

1. First of all, what in the world have I done to you for this attack ?

2. I used the icon in pennocks to send you email, got that error message. Why would I make that up ?

If another member tries this icon, and gets the same message, maybe it's problem with how you've listed the email address under your profile ? I don't know. Boy your fast to accuse people of things. I've got the email error message saved here, no reason to make somthing like that up. What would that gain me ? Nothing. Maybe comcast had an error ? I've got the email message. Thats a fact.

I tried a second email to you, so far, did not get the same message, so far. I'll forward that error message to you. Again, I can't understand why you'd think I'd make that up.

3. Do you understand yet that I wasn't bragging about my car with this post ? - or any other post ?

4. I'm glad you posted my PM, nothing to hide there.

5. Where did I ever say anything about special wheels on the trailer ? There just regular wheels.

In my search for buying another car, I've noticed many are in verious shape, some are in need of a little work, others are ready to gas up & go, others are basket cases. Wanted to see how our members would rate their own cars.

This was the reason for the post. Not bragging.

Take a look at Calfornia Kid or skitime, or many many other members, good lord man, I can't hope a candle to those cars. I'm the first to say that.

I'm a down to earth person, not as you said "BIG head down from the clouds" Boy, that was a mean comment.

I know where I stand in the pecking order, very low.

You make it sound like I've come out and said my car is better that anyones. My question is when did I do this. Never. Not a single time.

Anyone with a Fiero is a special person, no matter the condition of their car, or the mileage. Heck man, I hope we can meet sometime & have a few cold ones and shake hands. Dude, I'm not the way you said. Not at all.

I took a good look at your car, and do like it. Would like to know more about it sometime, But for now, I hope we can come to an understanding. This really has hurt my feelings.

I've never attacked you or any other Fiero owner here on the forum. I don't deserve the rap you've thrown out.

Let's talk.

ummmm no, if i was talking about someone specific i would say there name. That was a General comment.

Edit: I don't see what the problem is with that pic. Its on car domain and he was having fun with stating the low mileage, its not like its his sig or anything. I don't know about you but i dont see many <2000 mile cars that are over 10yrs old. Heck most of the 2004's ive seen have more milage than that.

Now back to our disscussion. Hmmm A, but I don't wanna sell it tomorrow. TRomorrow is when I get to pick it up from the sugeon (PBJ) who's been doing a heart transplant.

This is way out of control. Coolblue87gt- you have a beautiful car and its not often you see a Fiero with that low of miles on it. I have never heard you brag about your car, although it is one thats worth bragging about.

Mine is a B.

Id have to say:
A
F
And LOTS of assembly required. Right now I have a 3.4 DOHC, a pile of body pannels, a closet of interior parts, and an 88 frame. Does anyone want a 88GT 3.4DOHC kit? its kinda like a giant model car, lol

Thanks to those that responded. I gave each one you a "+" rating for your help.

Looks like it's going to be a great day,

Hope you all have a nice day, even you Greg. Sorry you hate me so much, just know this, it's only one way.

Almost any car that gets driven is a B car. Stone chips, dings, dirt and general wear all need fixing. My 87 GT with 101K miles is maybe a B. It looks good, but the intake manifold and valve covers do show wear after 17 years. I'm sure it would take more than $500 to fix up all the things to make it an A.

My 88GT looks good, but it needs some repainting (much more than $500) to get it in pristine shape.

The last time I had photographed them together before moving to Florida.

Dave's blue GT is an example of an A car and he has a right to be proud of it.

Maybe hidden choice "F", unless someone plops down a buttload of cash!

Greg - nice car! Btw, I've met Dave and seen his car up close. I think you have him pegged all wrong, and his "trailer queen" ( ) isn't perfect. It has its share of stone chips. (Hell - my trailer queen has no paint, so who am I to talk? LOL) It's still a nice Fiero though.
