Acting dumb has been a theme in entertainment since before I was a kid. After reading some of these threads I'm beginning to wonder if some here are acting dumb in the interest of entertainment. Looking at it this way ... yeah some of the stupidity expressed here is pretty funny.
I was referring to the comedians not the serious people. Bing especially, is the guy I want in the conference room when there is some uncertainty about something.

This is the worst thing that can happen to a forum like this. It should be locked. Or at least boycotted. Just let it drop to the bottom.

Political humor and satire are done to spark "lively" discussions and it's certainly working here. I consider you ( BingB) one of the serious people here. I apologize if anyone gets my intention wrong.

I'm terrified of the thought that you'd be making any decisions at all in a conference room. Hopefully it's for stupid widgets, and not something related to national security or critical design of public transportation.

I used to think that people like you could be a meaningful part of a political discussion, or even in a proper bi-partisan government. I've realized in the past year that this is not possible. Your kind will do anything within your power to get control... and your delusion is only too happy to help facilitate that. I cannot wait until January when President Trump is inaugurated. I don't make the decisions in the conference room. I'm there to help gather the information necessary to do it. Most often I just direct the conversation to those who have the most logical approach. "Name calling" has no place in a serious discussion and is not allowed in any meeting that I take part in. Researchers and fact finders are always included. I see BingB as one of those.

For the greater part of a decade, I've been the person at the head of a conference room table, and I've learned quickly to find out who the people are that waste everyone's time, and who are the people that get things done. The thing that I find most annoying about you, is how you came onto this message forum pretending like you're superior to everyone else. You talk about research and engineering, as if you assumed there was not a single other person on this message forum who's ever accomplished anything. I know personally a great many people on here. This forum runs the gambit of former and current spies, engineers, federal marshals, CEOs, PhDs., doctors, actors, a politician, and even a former senior member of the national security council. I'll never forget your first few posts on here... it was almost like (not verbatim)... "attention everyone, the genius has now arrived, and I'm ready to take your questions and properly teach you the ways of my wisdom." Contrarily... you've likely never submitted a patent or even published a conference paper for all your "research."
