Itn't it AMAZING that the shootings start like clock work when it is dem campaigns start.
2015-16 , then before the mid terms, and now that the 2020 run has started, here we go again.
I wonder if the dem's are taking a page out of the muzzie hand book.
Do what we ask of you and we'll make sure your family is taken care of.
There is no way. the timing of election campaigns and these "events" are a hapstance .

I do *understand* the thought that goes through these people's minds. If I'm going to channel my celebrity psychology family lineage (Karl Jaspers) in trying to understand the logic here... I'd probably say these people feel that, as the speaker is saying, they've reached a point where they've run out of options.

I'd have to assume of course there's more going on there, because a chemically "normal" person would continue to look for options... can I fix my situation, are there any options I have? I dunno... psychosis tends to fester, but there has to be an imbalance first. Whether we want to admit it or not... we've all wanted to get revenge at times. While my Christian values sometimes succeed in convincing me to take the high road (and usually leads to a positive outcome), there are other times where I've allowed myself to really get drawn into my own misery and I'd want to do something. Now, a sane person, once you reach that point, you consider consequences, the Golden rule, etc... and again... any sane person would prevent themselves from going down whatever that path is.

I can't say I've *ever* thought about shooting a place up. Though I have had dreams where I've magically teleported next to... Vladamir Putin, Ayatolla, Hitler, or Kim Jung Un... and I've got a gun. Answer is simple... I'm dead either way, might as well take one for my country and solve a problem. But here's where I think what the speaker says is flawed... no sane person would ever contemplate shooting up a bunch of innocent people. That's just not a thing. I grew up with Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, etc... so I experienced violent games just as much as the next younger Gen-Xer, or any of the Millennials. Hell... I even hacked the SpectraVision box in the hotel that my father managed, and had full access to pornography from 11-12 until my parents found out. So I've been exposed to all kinds of trash... and still, never once thought about shooting up or blowing up anything.

I agree with a lot of what he says, and I know people can allow themselves to get to a dark point in their lives... but there's a difference between sane and insane. No sane person believes mass-murder is a solution to anything..

It’s quite refreshing to see critical thinking without the laziness of extremism.
You always seem more interested in the exploration of a problem rather then the domination of it.
You seem quite comfortable with not pretending that you have all the answers or the necessity of divisions to stupidly simplify the problem.

Every one of us is completely capable of going off the deep end, be it voluntary or involuntary.
100% empathy is not a given, for anyone.

There are no monsters.
There’s just us, and our ability/inabilitiy to self-control.

I suspect someone will be along here momentarily to prove that point...

Like your inability to control your drug and alcohol abuse?

Should people like you with serious drug and alcohol abuse problems be allowed to own guns?

As seen as you have never been around him or anyone else to know their mental state and abilty ,while pass the legal limit per the law.
to make a blanket statement that you did above is beyond foolish.

As many gun owners are past the legal limit of booze while at home ,that would get them a DUI if driving, a few times a week.
By your statement above of no,change my mind, they should all loose their #2 ament rights.
because they get a buzz after work at home in their home be it booze, weed or other.

By your thinking you want 80% of the US of A population dis armed.

Possession of a firearm while intoxicated is covered under Federal firearm laws.

But that isn't what he was implying!!
He is implying that if you partake in anything, you should lose your rights.
As seen as Rande can only ASSUME what and how much someone he clearly never met, drinks or tokes or whatever.
He isn't alone, Many in my state would love to take your guns just because you can get to them while drinking, or high. just like they do with dui's. and have the keys avail to you.
no matter if you are sleeping it off, you could because you have keys drive the vehicle. same with guns, because you have the combo to the safe, they want to be able to remove your guns.
But a few here assume a bunch about others.
Without being privy to any facts.
Castro would be proud of rande

Federal and most State laws dictate no personal use of firearms while under the influence of intoxicating substances.

If you're not carrying or handling when intoxicated, no law is broken.

There are more than enough firearm regulations on the books, what is lacking is enforcement of those laws, and also Fed funding of unfunded Fed mandates. (Background checks)

Well if we are going to use broad statements for gun ownership (drinking/drug use) than I say we must also apply any hatred or opinion towards another race, religion, gender, political view, insert whatever you want, should also be considered. I am sure there are many on this forum who are firearm owners who would fall into this category, as not being fit to own a weapon. As long as you pass the established guidelines in your state or others (as I am currently going through UTAH checks) then the 2nd amendment applies to the individual, much like the 1st amendment allows us to utter what ever we wish to say, as long as it is not terroristic in nature. With this said, I do hope that what ever new laws they plan on putting into effect, do have a better ability to weed out the crazies, but alas I doubt it.

The laws are written, as stated, that you are not allowed to consume alcohol, drugs, or be intoxicated while armed in public. I follow those laws to a "T". I will not be your front page news. Ever.

We do not need more gun laws. We absolutely should be shouting from the mountain tops that laws need to be followed.

Just enjoy our fellow forum member's contributions...

The upbringing, religion, politics, environment and culture all shape the person. Each of these will have an effect on the decisions one makes, for better or worse.

As a matter of fact, much of upbringing, religion, politics and culture has that very intent. These are all meant to guide us. Those brought up in some cultures, religions or political persuasions are specifically taught to hate or destroy others.

See, I knew your slimy douchiness could not resist an opportunity to put your pathetic brain on front-street for all to see.

It’s almost like you’re proud of being a moron.
Maybe that’s the very thing that makes you a moron.

Or it could simply be the result of you being the first sub-human ever born rectally, which would be amazing, considering you literally ain’t sh1t.

1. You have no idea what my abilities are.
You know, like you being too stupid to realize that you are little more then a sad embarrassment to the worthless excuse of the woman that was too brain dead to abort you.

2. You have no idea what I can or can’t control.
You know, like the way that crackhead couldn’t control the load that eventually became you.

3. Use, or abuse?
You know, like what your family must go through, realizing what an utter waste you have made their lives by your incredibly worthless existence.

To answer your question (although I doubt you retain capacity to comprehend even the most basic of concepts), The Constitution, Declaration, & Bill of Rights will tell you everything you need to know about what I think my rights should be.

And they are definitely not subject to what you think (?), believe, desire, or demand.
I’m an American.
You’re just pretending to be.

It’s called Freedom, douche bag.
Each mans God-given right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
And It’s definitely not subject to your approval.

Now go fugg yourself, snowflake.
Loser.

That is just subjective enough to be virtually useless.
“Some”?
“Wrong”?
“Destructive”?

It’s all in the eye of the beholder.
Been like that since the beginning of time.
It’s how empires were/are built.

It’s his way of trying to be clever, but what it really signifies is his pride in his incredibly closed mind.
He already has all the answers he requires.
At least that’s what he has to tell himself to get around his inability to foster some semblance of rational normalcy.

The truth is, he wallows in the depths of his own self-loathing.
So desperate is he to rid himself of the knowledge of his hateful nothingness, that at every opportunity he spits forth his vile being at anyone who reminds him of just how far from rationality he really is.

He is just a weak, scared, SELF-OBSESSED little nothing, desperately clinging to the fraying threads of the delusion that he is a normal human being, as opposed to the complete waste of life he is to those closest to him that pretend he’s not the biggest mistake they ever made.

It takes a special kind of blindness to not see the douche he really is.

Applying OBJECTION!.."subjective"... to everything is simply not something that is done in a modern and informed society.

Loser.

There is a lot going on here. Basically, you write in the same deceptive style as the guy that shot up the Walmart in El Paso. Just making a comparison, but you wrote some things here that should be looked into before you go postal at the bowling alley. You sound like you have a great deal of hateism Donald. Let it go man.

There are laws on the books. Laws are required to be followed for our society to move forward. Self discipline and all.

YES I do and you're making your lack of control obvious to everyone else too. Keep doing it.

It is interesting to watch drug and alcohol abusers talk about things they don't have, like self control.

We do not need more gun laws. We absolutely should be shouting from the mountain tops that laws need to be followed.

And just like a commie liberal, skip the comment question, and deflect.
That place assumes **** about everyone so what is your point other than you're too much of a pussy to state what your screen name is over there.

You faked brain cancer in another forum. You had a claim of some life ending disease or the such here two years ago. You fracking faked cancer dog! Nobody would speak to you again if not for forums like this with traffic that does not know your mentality.

Members here and in other forums should know when an individual like yourself enters. Actual proof of your lies to us, yet here you are sitting at the table with us and we somewhat allow it? Boondawg, you, any other moron that continues to threaten us and speak to us like this in person would be removed from the card game. The internet is your safety net. The ilk of you will only be men here. You go home and get drunk, high, or just completely obtuse to reality. Self emulation and such.

Eric Fallon or Marcus Furgal, whichever you go by on this forum, you faked cancer to gain some sort of sick and twisted attention to yourself. Besides the tool that raped a 12 year old and defended himself here on this very forum, you are absolutely the second biggest piece of crap this froum has ever encountered. That is saying more than you know Marcus/Eric.
