Frankly, Shaun Hammit needs to be put in his place. If anyone is the master internet e-thug, its him. He makes insults online that would have gotten him put into the hospital in real life. He asked Steve Kelly's son to sign his balls, among other things related to child pornography. The average troll still left here on Pennocks pale in comparison to Shaun. If you want to talk about backing out of a fight, he was the first to do so, my first challenge was to him, he did not directly reject it, but he did not accept either. Where are the people on RFT calling him out for the weak ***** he is?

Yes, I was bullied in school, I won't deny it. There's just so much a person can take, and grade-school kids can be mean. Its called "acting childish". I gave my share of bullying back then, and I'm sorry for those who I may have hurt. I also forgive the people who bullied me back in the day, they didn't really know any better.

doesn't shaun live in florida tho? why on earth would you make a challange to fight him over the internet? I mean where are you guys going to fight? where you willing to get on a plane and go to his door to fight him or what? what was the plane if he did accept the fight?

also I have seen your myspace. and I have seen shaun.

I have seen little guys fight pretty well too.

shuan can be a dickhed. he does alot of dumb and crazy stuff. but dude, my advice to you. don't seriously try and fight him. he would OWN you pretty hard. and then you would have got no where. just wasted money on a plane ticket to get your ass kicked.

i also wouldn't fight stimpy ether. hell I wouldn't try and fight many people unless I went to the gym got some roids. and took some basic boxing classes. if i was you.

im not making fun of you. im just giving u my honest openion that u shouldnt try and fight ether of them. nothing said over the internet is worth getting in a pyhsical fight. everyone is always talking big over the net all the time anywas.

Plane ticket? There is nothing that can be said over the internet that would make me waste my time and money to fly somewhere to teach someone a lesson.

Shaun lives in Florida. I said RFTH he could confront me, and vice versa. North Carolina isn't that far from Florida, he could have easily driven. Instead he insulted RFTH as being a "redneck hangout" or something and said it wasn't worth his time. Now he's sending me emails saying he'll be at Daytona. I'll probably be at Daytona, he starts some **** I'll let him throw first punch then its gloves off. Remember, its not the size of the dog in the fight...its the size of the fight in the dog. Whoever is most willing to go all out. I doubt he has it in him, he's all bluff and insult, with nothing to back it up.

I have anger issues and grew up in a violent family. One of the reasons guys stopped bullying me... I punched a couple of guys in their faces, broke a guy's nose. Usually they'll think its all fun and games until someone finally gets hurt, and **** gets serious.

They should be treated the same way as automatic transmissions are treated in Germany. Supposedly over there to pass your driver's test you have to do it in a car equipped with a standard transmission. Better to have overkill in your abilities than the bare minimum, so you don't have to rely on your crutches to help you walk.

i agree, i was saying that from the begining. u can look in threads i have from over a year ago where i state i go to a empy parking lot when i get a new car and i learn the balance, breaking point. and traction corner points on the car so I am more familuer with it. and there is alot more driving instruction that should be mandatory. but good luck getting the usa to ever enforce or reqiure that. and then of course can u imagne an 80 year old that doesnt belong on the road already but they all are, trying to remember what she learned and bringing a oversteered car back behind her lol.

LMAO. Hahahahaha an 80 year old woman doing donuts in her Caddy, trying to regain control of the car. That'd be hilarious to see in an empty parking lot.

Run for the Hills. Its like the coast run that Songman puts on every year, but its placed in the backroads of North Carolina, Tennessee, or Georgia, up in the mountains. Usually about 30-50 cars show up, we all BS about our cars for a couple of days, and drive hard. I usually run in the "insane" group. I'm not a pro, and my technique is newbish and sloppy, but I think I have the fundamentals down and I try not to **** up.

I can say truthfully that at best the fight would be 50-50 odds. He's skinny and weak-looking too, but still, who knows how crazy he is. I'm 5'8" 165 lbs (around 8-10% bodyfat), I don't look buff or anything, but I'm mostly muscle. Know how big he is?

Funny how all the things that your BMW have that you are bragging about we on American cars years before.

For example, Traction control has been available for years on American cars.

What lights are working and not working was available on 1960’s Cadillac's as standard equipment.

As has how many gallons left, how many miles before empty, These are all things that have been available on American cars before Your BMW, and to be honest most were much simpler and more reliable.

For example what lights are working in the older Cadillac's was a fiber optic link directly from each light so no worry about short circuits.

Stop bragging about BMW, this thread was about one particular system in one particular car.

Talk about that.

Some of you guys need to grow up, if you have to triple post with practically a novel your hilarious.
If you have to strut your penis size on your shoulder all day and always have something to prove
how big of a man are you really?

If you have to argue with someone on the internet it shows how much of a life you have and how much
work you really do.

Go open another business, I'll be happy with some $5 dollar oakley knock offs

Tinton if you have to threaten people over the internet that shows what kind of person you are as well.
Who cares about your gerth and attributes, YOUR ARGUIING OVER THE INTERNET..

Both of you grow up

That's just it, I highly doubt Shaunboy would throw the first punch. He knows that puts him legally at fault and his narrow butt goes to jail. Instead, he'll try to get in your face and piss you off enough to YOU throw the first punch and he can then fight back and play the victim at the same time. If there's an altercation with Shaunboy in public, I wouldn't be surprised if one of his friends is nearby with a camcorder. He's a punk, but he's not stupid.

Although Florida does have "stand your ground" laws. If you feel physically threatened, you are not legally required to retreat, you are allowed to stand your ground and defend yourself - with lethal force, if it's warranted. Of course, you have to feel your life is in danger before you can justify lethal force.

My Fiero, is just a toy for me. I drive a '03 Venture, with the traction control, abs, and parking aids. Wife drives an '02 Impala.
I wasn't meaning technology was a bad thing, only that 'I think' BMW sucks, and was giving it something to suck on.

You should actually read up facts instead of making statements with no basis.

Being a Fiero owner AND a BMW owner, I can tell you that BMW's policy is to support ALL it's cars for 25 years. (actually many Import companies have this policy) GM, Ford, and Mopar only do it for 10 years. The only reason some parts for Fiero's are still available at a dealership is because either the stock has not been sold out or the part was used on a later car. They do NOT manufacture any parts for Fiero's anymore. In fact the Fiero store has made "Lifetime buys" on many Fiero specific parts so you can't get them from a dealership anymore only from the Fiero Store.

As for technology on cars, When they started adding computer control to cars in the early 80's many said it wouldn't last because once the computer failed the car was trash due to the expense to replace it. Alas many here are driving a 20+ year old car with the same computer.
The same things everyone is saying about "new technology" is the same thing many said back in the 70's. I'm sure each decade has had similar toughts about the advancement's in technology. But as technology advances more present technology becomes commonplace.

What's funny is all these folks harping on BMW's because one person who happens to be unpopular at the moment has one. Odds are many who are dissing BMW's never drove one for any length of time. BMW isn't the "Greatest car ever made" nor is it for everyone. But out of all the vehicles I have owned, It is very well balanced and fun to drive. Resale is higher than most cars. The resale on our BMW is 70% of it's original sticker and it's a 2002. A 2002 Grand Prix GTP (which is the other car we looked at back then) was the same price and today only retained 40% of it's original price.

As for the Lexus, I have seen the video's and it looks like it works well, But I personally would not trust it. All it takes is one "bug" in the software and you'll be calling your insurance company. It's a new thing, Let's see how well it works after the first year goes. As with ANY vehicle, the first year usually has bugs in it.

I'd be willing to bet that if it stops working, it's because something is unsafe so it shut itself down to avoid backing into a car (IE: If a sensor breaks, it's not going to let you auto park the car and not do a tight enough turn or what not, it would just say disable the parking system, obviously).

OH SH*T, SON, HES GOT A SUNGLASS KIOSK IN THE MALL! DONT F*CK WITH THIS MAN!

lol.

i'll agree traction control and stuff is nice for your everyday soccer mom or other normal person who doesnt have a clue how to drive. but people who do know how to drive are better off without these systems, because the systems assume you dont know how to drive and try to correct you; very likely putting you into the wall or over the embankment that normally you would have no problem avoiding. now you say "turn it off" but most of these cars, even when you turn it off, they will override and kick in at the most inopportune time.

look up the NHTSA statistics on ABS. it has had some effect in decreasing likelihood of collision, but when a collision occured, a fatality was much more likely now this is primarily due to people not knowing how to use ABS, the pedal vibrates and they let off "ahh my brakes failed!" and boom.

in short, for a family trip or something yeah these new things are nice. but when im trying to drive, no thanks. these systems are no more than a crutch, and when you end up driving something without these aids, you might be in for the ride of your life.

i'll agree traction control and stuff is nice for your everyday soccer mom or other normal person who doesnt have a clue how to drive. but people who do know how to drive are better off without these systems, because the systems assume you dont know how to drive and try to correct you; very likely putting you into the wall or over the embankment that normally you would have no problem avoiding. now you say "turn it off" but most of these cars, even when you turn it off, they will override and kick in at the most inopportune time.

look up the NHTSA statistics on ABS. it has had some effect in decreasing likelihood of collision, but when a collision occured, a fatality was much more likely now this is primarily due to people not knowing how to use ABS, the pedal vibrates and they let off "ahh my brakes failed!" and boom.

in short, for a family trip or something yeah these new things are nice. but when im trying to drive, no thanks. these systems are no more than a crutch, and when you end up driving something without these aids, you might be in for the ride of your life.

everything u just said was bullshit. when u turn it off, it doesn't turn back on. and the car doesnt auto correct what u do it just makes sure you don't slide the rear end out on yourself or understeer yourself. please tell me when trying to avoid a collesion u would ever do ether of those? u wouldn't? and the reason my kiosks was brought up was because someone else decided to call bullshit on me. so i did what most other people here don't do. provide proof.

the only thing i may belive is your statment about abs. but please send me a link to where u saw those statistics.

fact of the matter is technology is here and here to stay. and it will keep progressing. if u don't like it. keep driving your 80's cars. and be happy with it. and stop bugging people that like it.

no matter how good a driver you are. a human can't proccess over a million diffrent things per second and apply brakes to each individual wheen when it starts to lose traction.
and humans never will.

Tinton, a Great Dane would swallow a yappy little poodle whole. Think about that.

Actually it was Jim McCreery (Punisher) that said it first and posted the pornographic image. Shaun then jumped in and ran with it from there.

Amen, boondawg.

I see Fiero5 is still with us, he and I had some differences a while back, I made some snippy coments and he responded. Then we dropped it. When the horse is dead, beating it isn't going to help. God help me, I'm almost fond of him now

Each to his own, but I do better when my blood pressure stays low, getting too old for the petty stuff.
