This video breaks down and explains AI 2027.

It's not likely to pan out exactly as described, as we cannot say how the major players will behave, and one of the possible outcomes depends on a level of cooperation among countries that aren't the best at communicating.

What is "AI 2027"?

“AI 2027” is a carefully crafted, month-by-month forecast by the AI Futures Project that paints a dramatic future in which artificial intelligence achieves human-level expert performance by early 2027, then quickly escalates into Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) through self-improvement and automation of research. The narrative outlines geopolitical rivalry, risks of misaligned goals, and even model theft—like China stealing the U.S.’s AGI model—all unfolding within a compressed timeline.

Designed to spark conversation and planning, AI 2027 includes detailed appendices, embedded simulations, and a narrative approach that merges forecasting with storytelling. It draws on real trends—such as recursive self-improvement and competitive pressure—but delivers them through a high-stakes, cinematic lens

There are many videos out there regarding AI 2027, many seem to be overly-dramatic. This particular video has some background music, but lays it all out clearly.

Without having watched the video, yet, this is not unexpected. And a bit frightening on several different levels, if I'm completely honest.

The minute AI was even a thought in someones head, I knew it would be complete garbage and a danger. Even Elon Musk stated in a video that AI was alright when controlled. Let it get out of control and it's a nightmare. This is what I can't stand about today's society. They think that anything new is a godsend and embrace it without looking at the dark side first. So when it "learns" the wrong information from people who want to use it for crime, then what? How do you "get rid" of the wrong information it has learned?

The fact that Google is spearheading AI proves that the biggest criminal, theft organization is pushing it.
