It had its moments, but mostly was as lame as the regular program has become. The highlight of the show, for me, was McCartney doing the "Abbey Road medley". But sadly, Paul's voice was not up to what we're used to. Not his fault. At least he's made it to 82. Time marches on, I suppose. I hope I can still do... whatever, at 82.
In that I've never been a SNL fan, I didn't watch any of it. On the other hand, my ever-loving spouse does like the humor (she says) and went back to our bedroom to watch. I can't swear as to how good or bad it was but, when I went in to check on her about midway through the show, she was fast asleep on the bed. I have to assume it wasn't all that great for her either.
