He sums up a few things quite well I think.

Relationships? Society? Philosophy? Caring? Feels?

This is one of those ‘talks’ that I am strongly attracted to but wish was delivered by someone else(I know far too many people who don’t like JP, and it’s frustrating)

Random ramblings:

Mirror neurons - that’s why folks like watching sports, movies and pron.

Don’t put energy into things and people that don’t serve you

Why people like sports and Sci-fi and religion

Movies are a shared dream

Many “losers” feed their brains a “loser narrative”.

Be part of groups that have a positive message/“push”

Every step on the right path releases dopamine

Completing even a trivial task releases dopamine.

Hi TDA!

You said you know people who dont like JP.

I find sometimes people dont like something or someone if that thing makes them think hard, removes their happy distraction, or makes them feel like they should change, they just dont want to. It sometimes is also just that their "friends" in the group think wouldnt approve.

I think the point he's making though is that when people see JP, they'll immediately disregard (and not watch) the video... therefore missing the important video. If it was presented by perhaps, someone else who people didn't know, or if people felt neutrally about (like, let's say... Dr. Phil, haha), then the message would be conveyed better. It's not JP's fault... it's the fault of the human mind to reject things that are in disagreement with their views.

Note, I haven't watched it, but it's on my list to watch tonight... as I contemplate the fact that my daughter is going to the dance tonight, with her 6th boyfriend in less than a year and a half.

YES - JP DEFINITELY puts out "DAD preaching how to be responsible and such" energy - and those people HATE that. and their lives are FAR from where they could have been, and i don't spend much time with them...
