Some vehicles had some seriously sweet dashes (in my opinion). Some were from concept cars that never saw the light of product. Others were possibly rare accessory features found in so few models that we wouldn't possibly see one in real life or sit in it. But plenty of others to admire as well.

Thought about this as a thread to showcase some retro car dashes we could all contribute.

I'll start with this one:

Lanca Orca (1982)

You realize you are really old when people think of the early 80s as 'retro'...

I have always thought that my father's 1964 Thunderbird had the wildest dash for the time....So cool with a bunch of controls and buttons- my mom stated she was afraid that one of the buttons would trigger the ejection seat (Goldfinger movie)

From the link above:

Lambo Athon Concept - Funny to see a calculator having it's own holder, but how does this steering wheel work? I must be seeing an optical illusion.

Wondering if it works like this.

Several models had E-dashes in the 80's.
GM Cavalier z24 was one and like many had huge problems and whole thing died.
The E-dash is other why almost never see the cars now because Dead Dash is Instance Fail for most inspections and cost to replace was way too high for many owners. (Plus z24 got same V6 w/ same problems like low oil pressure...)

It's difficult to believe (as it's gone by in the blink of an eye), but 1980 was 42 freakin' years ago! Damn.
