If you happen to find it, please let me know....

Thanks in advance!

ROTFLMAO !!

Ya know its your own fault.

Paperclips like fresh country air, and you wont find that anywhere close to New York.

Did you feed it today ?

Give it fresh water ?

Stroke it's steel and tell it how everything will be OK

Even scratch it belly....er inside curve....er...WHAT-ever, it still needs stroking.

Please call 1-866-paper-clip abuser and our agents will be happy to get your paper-clip home again, for only $999.99, which comes with a full guarantee. If our services dont get your paper-clip home within 180 days, we will send you a new FREE replacement paper-clip.

I have your paperclip and I am holding it hostage. He's restrained but in good health...for now. If you ever want to see him again, send me $100. I'm not bluffing. The last person that ignored my demand ended up with just a picture of a twisted up mass of wire. Midnight Tuesday, I start cuttin...

That is a fact. The first time that twisted twit stuck his nose in my business, I spent the rest of the day plotting his demise. I was bound and determined that I would not rest until he was dead and buried.

If that happens, the system has other problems like Low RAM.
I supported Thousands of units just a 1 "Fortunes 500" size company and while many dislike to outright hate Clippit aka Clippy but this function rarely cause problems. I had worse and a more problems just supporting Office App's for other problems even when Assistants are disabled.

Example: Way to Many people had Minimum RAM and opening 2 or more app's causes the system to thrash the disk for the swap file and slow to a crawl.
Like many w/ WinXP had only 512mb RAM and complaint system is slow... boost to 768mb or 1gb RAM and most think had a completely replace the computer. And often isn't the best/fastest RAM upgrade the unit needs but slow RAM is Many Times Faster then any Swap file.
Win3.x Win95 or Win98 had same problems because MS set Minimum System Specs Too Low to do any real jobs. Even later Win7 to 10 and 11 still have lame minimum spec Because & Worse your dealing w/ Bean Counters and Others that will only approve a purchase that meets the MS minimum. Or homes users that Believe MS Specs and Best Buy et al happy to sell crap machines. (Thin Client / Cloud setups often also use MS Min Spec Memory amount too.)

And that's ignoring Anti-Virus and more are loaded at boot time eating RAM space and CPU cycles before any user program... I have a laptop w/ Win7 x64 4gb w/ near nothing loaded at boot and still have same problem w/o a swap file just using FF or other browsers and several tabs/windows.

I've removed a lot of Bonzai Buddy, Weatherbug. and other crap...
Many were early versions of Malware reporting everything when open and often causes problems by sucking RAM and CPU cycles, eating Internal and I-net bandwidth as well.

This issue and a few other reasons cause many Enterprise to lock down the Desktop so Users cannot:
Install software
Change desktop background image
Install or Change a screen saver
Install most or all drivers for anything.

But Big issue since is IT Security likes to remove many features in MS Office and way more programs as they need a reason to keep getting paid.
This is part of why doc links, macros and functions fail when an Enterprise upgrades the OS or Software. On Top of MS upgrade BS...
Even MS Patch Tuesday often fails to load patch because IT Sec locks or remove a feature and the patch installer can't see a exe or dll file.

It really is kinda interesting how in retrospect, how little ANY of that stuff mattered At ALL.

Remember Palm Pilot? Blackberry? iPhone? the upcoming iView and iCar... All those hours of training and troubleshooting...all just kinda pointless, in the long run.

deldupes.

It matters to those that made Millions to Billions of $ from Sheeple that DL or Buy whatever. Some Companies may be Bankrupt but CEO and more got a huge payout in pay, benefits, bonuses, etc. and often still getting money.

What really is a problems is Certifications you often need to just get an interview or keep a job costing a huge amount of $ to MS Apple Cisco and more.
I took many tests to be Certified by IBM Dell HP and More to get parts to fix PC and Printer Hardware. Most paid by the Company but still wasted my time to test for every new models.

Worse, now you often are required to have LinkIn etc account that often gets Hacked. Many Big companies also have Internal "LinkIn" sites too that used for a lot of things and if you don't want to use it or don't put right buzzwords, expect to be on first layoff list.

I make a Fiero GT ALDL Adapter and GUI. To lower the cost, I had to make my own 3D printed ALDL connectors because I could not find a cable with the connector pins wired they way I need them. I was buying a 12 pin cable, cutting off the cable, Dremmeling it out, adding my desired wires, and potting it back up with resin. It was a lot of work. My 3D connectors were not only lower cost but saved me a ton of time.

I took that connector design and created a new part which I call the "The Fiero Paperclip Adapter".

I keep one handy in my glove box.

It's harder to lose than a paperclip and it even comes with a mini Torx screw driver and and instruction placard teathered to it. It allows you to go from NORM to DMDIAG Mode at the flip of a switch. All the Error Codes are listed on the placard. It can even put the ECM in DMFACT mode so you can test the Limp Home Mode of the ECM.

The Fiero Store didn't want to sell it because they already sell a similar solution from the NIFE forum. So, I sell it for cost plus shipping - which is lower cost than if it was retail.

That sounds neat, will order one from you tomorrow. xoxo

I found my paperclip, it was behind my ear (where my pencil used to be)
