Kurt Cobain wore dresses, sometimes with pearls. Not a good look. A local kid guitarist does it at jams. Not a good look. Nobody really wants to be part of the spectacle involving him. So his guitar work isnt heard.

An Epiphone Casino and a Rick 360...somebody needs to take those away from them. That's like giving a loaded gun to Alex Baldwin.

Does he think he has a chance? How many gun haters are in TX?

"Together, we can push past the small and divisive politics" -Beto

Oh can "we"? "Small" and "divisive"?

On the upside, over the past few years Robert Francis O'Rourke has made all of Governor Abbott's campaign "attack ads" for him.

Leftists gotta Leftist so sometimes the best thing to do to defeat them, if you can sustain the damage they do, is to let them be Leftists.

True, when they reveal their agendas, its so scary that real Americans react and correct.

Yep I said real Americans.

SO FAR IT'S GOING ABOUT AS WELL AS EXPECTED

"Beto, I'm Robert. I'm a native Houstonian. On behalf of the ranchers, the oil and gas, the farmers, like Maxine Waters, I'm in your grill telling you don't come back. We don't want you here. Get the hell out!" he said after shaking O'Rourke's hand. "Hey Beto! Come and take it. It ain't going to happen. You lost twice. No means no."

The crowd then started chanting, "Hell no! Hell no!"

Actor Matthew McConaughey stated yesterday:

quote
As a simple kid born in the little town of Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership. It’s a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I’m choosing not to take at this moment.”

This will probably help Beto, as many believe McConaughey had a reasonable chance of winning the election or at least siphoning off Dem votes and causing a runoff.

Hahaha, a lot. Many that are not intelligent enough to be highly successful in a highly competitive area moved to Texas from California. You guys need to lock down your voting rules and put in a 2 year of residence before being allowed to vote.
Yea, I said it, "not intelligent" = afraid of guns. The others that claim a need to restrict guns are intelligent, want to regulate others, and have people with guns employed directly to protect them.

I saw the long version.

The victim should have backed off, the shooter shouldn't have gotten his gun.

Both of them were over reacting.

My take on the situation there as well, and the wife had some blame too. Custody arguments are a civil matter in Texas, and castle law doesn't allow for shooting trespassers.
The dad grabbed for the gun tho....
The current question is, in Texas, will that shooter be charged or not?

So many things wrong with both of them. When the guy had retreated after the ex had tried to grab the gun and the ex had continued after him then self defense is a viable argument. But it appears he simply retreated far enough to get a clear shot at the ex. It does matter what was said though.

What really matters is that mommy's new boyfriend shot and killed that child's real daddy.

Regarding the Lubbock Tx shooting, lawsuits are a flying already. The shooter (Kyle Carruth) has had a wrongful death suit filed against him and his buisiness for $50 million (actually 100 million) .. filed by the deceased's widow Jennifer Read.
https://www.everythinglubbock.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/35/2021/11/Plaintiffs-First-Amended-Petition-fs.pdf

And, Carruths ex-wife, has filed a lawsuit as part of her ongoing divorce proceedings to keep Kyle Carruth away from her home.

This is ripe for a 'made for tv' movie..
